@Kel H Because people seek to laugh when they are in grief or distress. If you’re in tears, you’re emotionally heightened, and all it takes to laugh is someone cracking a small joke to provide comfort, which is evidently what happened when he went to sit down. GW was an imperfect man but one oh my absolute favorites for his humanity, compassion for all Americans, and ability to bring people together. Exactly the man his amazing father GHB was. GW was a true gift from God on 11 Sept 2001, and was the right man at the time to be in the Oval office. I was a major in the USAF that day and was so comforted knowing our country had a good man as CIC. Thank God Almighty I never had to serve under DJT, the antithesis of these two great men.

Not to mention losing both parents within the span of 1 year. My heart goes out to W. Bush and his siblings.

Bush Jr. saying such beautifully spoken words about his adored and beloved dad,George Sr., it brings tears to my eyes.his humor, as always, brings light to a saddened situation, and to an audience of onlookers and listeners, his words spoke of a kind hearted, humorous, man of faith, family and friends. George Jr.,what a very well written, wonderfully spoken eulogy... Mr.President you are now with your beautiful soul mate Barbara and precious daughter Robin residing in Heaven hand in hand, along side the Almighty walking those streets paved in gold!..... rest peacefully Mr.President♡

How awkward it must be for Clinton, Obama and trump to be be all in the same bench

Why? This is not a football rivalry, they are public servers, just because the media makes you think they are enemies does not mean they don't respect each other.

@@RandalfElVikingo "The media" didn't call Hillary Clinton a nasty woman to her face and question the legitimacy of Obama's birth certificate to the point that people STILL don't believe he's an American citizen however many years later, just saying.

The entire atmosphere seemed to change when President Trump walked in... that front row went from smiles to no smiles....so sad. But I’m glad everyone came together to honor such a great man today. RIH 41. Blessings to the Bush family.

Well, I was never a Bush fan, but at least I really think, that this family has their morals straight and are human beings, miles apart from the Trump family

If you don't like Trump fine, but don't pull-out the turd polish for the Bushes to show your contempt.

Human beings are determined by the actions they take and the ultimate understanding of why they did them. Even the mafia had a moral code towards each other.

@@lawrencesmith4960 Lawrence, plz don`t mistake my recognition of a decent moment with my opinion about the family as the leaders of the US. I don`t like them at all and find their decisions, most of them, really "western style politics with the High noon duell in the center" But, I also believe, that Trumps family is far worse, then Bush`s, so I stated this fact in my first post.

What does truth bring in a moment like this? Tears that this family's will grow even closer. May Almighty God by His Spirit bring you comfort and peace.
