I also did my father's eulogy. It's the hardest thing to ever do. To convey the love between a father in son to an audience who will never understand that the words you speak will never do the relationship justice. Great job 43.

I was unaware of my father's funeral. I was at school having no idea it was taking place. It was my mum's decision. I was only 8. I understand her view point. And respect her d decision to shield me from the pain and reality of it. However I still wish whole heartedly that I was there to say goodbye. That omission really eats away at me to this day. Over 20 years later.

@Kel H Because people seek to laugh when they are in grief or distress. If you’re in tears, you’re emotionally heightened, and all it takes to laugh is someone cracking a small joke to provide comfort, which is evidently what happened when he went to sit down. There’s nothing “not right” about it. It’s called being human.

Imagine if you had the facts right. Those were Iranian passengers not Iraqi civilians. George H.W. Bush was not the president during that time and had nothing to do with what happened. If you are going to trash someone have your facts right about what you are saying. He actually came out and said he was never going to apologize for America for that saying he would never be an apologist for America. I am guessing those kinds of facts won't help your narrative though. Nice try though.

You know that he didn’t apologize for shooting down 274 civilians (Iran Air Flight 655), or lied about babies in incubators to get us to war, or readily used depleted uranium (effects of which are still being get today with extreme cancer rates), or the suspicious fact he couldn’t recall where he was when JFK was assassinated. There is freakin play about how everyone remembers! This CIA asset who subsequently became director and president was photographed there at the JFK parade that day. You all need to do some research before blindly following these officials. Hundreds of thousands of deaths can be attributed to his life on this planet.

Rest in Peace, Regan/Bush, winners of 49 of 50 states. Minnesota, you are the stinky armpit of America for denying Ronald Reagan his deserved 50 state sweep. I'm serious, people can mock California all they want and they deserve it. But at least the Commie Capital of America at least voted Reagan in 80 and 84 and Bush in 88. What the fuck has Minnesota done besides voting for a blowhard wrestler, conspiracy theorist for Governor and voted for every dirty rotten, cock sucking, liberal piece of shit for President since Nixon. Mr.President I must say you had a awesome old man during his lifetime. During his term as president he passed one of the powerful civil rights legislation the ADA American With Disability Act which gave the disable more opportunity for employment and lift most of the major burdens that the disable encounter.

GW was an imperfect man but one oh my absolute favorites for his humanity, compassion for all Americans, and ability to bring people together. Exactly the man his amazing father GHB was. GW was a true gift from God on 11 Sept 2001, and was the right man at the time to be in the Oval office. I was a major in the USAF that day and was so comforted knowing our country had a good man as CIC. Thank God Almighty I never had to serve under DJT, the antithesis of these two great men.
