Bill Clinton haters can say what they want, but the man showed a lot of class in honoring George Bush time and time again after their Presidential Election in 1992. I was a Junior in high school at that time, and after Bill Clinton started gaining traction in the polls after his Democratic nomination, George Bush pulled off the gloves and played the character card in desperation. The last few months of the campaign became pretty personal. Many wouldnt forgive that, but Bill Clinton did, and he deserves credit for that.

@@EuSeiT I respect what you are saying. I think much of the media is left-leaning and should endeavour to provide a more neutral viewpoint, like the CBC in Canada and the BBC in the UK. But the right-leaning media is guilty too. As an example, why did so many Fox journalists refer to a presidential candidate as Sleepy Joe? I'm not defending Biden here, I'm just saying that name calling is completely inappropriate for journalists. In short, I experience all US television media as overly biased. In my opinion, it seems that the media is harder on Republicans because there are more left-leaning networks. But they are all guilty (not of fake news but) of overfly-biased news. If they all raised the bar when it comes to neutrality, the country would be much less divided.

A lot of comments on here are asking where civility has gone. Our leaders don't show it any more and we don't hear stories of civility on the news. You either drink the kool aid 100% or you don't. You're either 100% a friend, or 100% an enemy. I had the privilege pre-covid to spend a lunch with someone politically the opposite from me. The only thing we had in common was the love of our football team. So we started there. By the end of the lunch, we didn't agree on everything - or anything, really - but we understood the arguments and we knew why we each felt the way we did. It started with listening and believing that my opponent wanted the best for the country just like I did. We just had different ideas of how to get there. We can't wait for our leaders to be civil. It's up to us. Bill Clinton, a man I've never been a fan of, showed a good example of how that's done here.

I think this is a touching speech. I believe that President Bush 41and President Bush 43 are not only great great patriotic and principled Presidents, also their generosity of forgiveness by sincerity and kindness nature to encourage and influence others leaderships to govern by our country America’s own principles together as well as appropriate each other’s good part of leadership by learning experiences for learning more to understand more and do better things always for America’s greatness. I guess as President leveled Governing leaderships talk and communicate each other for America’s principles and greatness by sincerity and generosity of forgiveness altogether maybe good for learning experiences for all Americans of all too, I guess. Often generosity of forgiveness is harder to do, especially when peoples are in anger and madness time. However, when we think about even as President level Governing leadership can do this, why we ordinary Americans can’t be a little bit more forgiving to each other? This is why I believe stopping the further investigation into elected President Trump’s clueless investigation as well as forgiving the past mistakes by others this time. Let’s be united together again by our country America’s greatness, learning from principles, having a little generosity of forgiveness to each other this time and unite together again by our principles from now onward to build America’s greatness altogether by getting things done quickly together.
