I honestly think we played well overall. Liverpool were just a better team, especially defensively. I'll take the positives today: 1. Nicholas Jackson converted his only chance. That's a huge plus for me. 2. Moises Caicedo was my player of the match. He controlled the midfield really well. 3. Pedro Neto should be starting over Noni Madueke. He always brings in the dangerous crosses. 4. Levi Colwill, despite the unfortunate foul that led to a Salah goal, he really defended well. 5. Romeo Lavia is such a gem..I really think he should be starting our EPL games ahead of Enzo 5

I learnt today that Cucurela is one of the most important players in the team, Colwil was shaky throughout the first half,Caicedo was superb in that role today as well as Lavia, the Anfield factor went into the heads of Colwil and Tosin they really lacked confidence today,Gusto is a very good player but should never be compared to a fully fit James, Palmer have to be tough because he’s going to be man mark against every team, Maresca is a blessing to Chelsea his tactics were on point but just that some individuals were not on top of their game. Sancho on a good should have utilized the weaknesses of Arnold with the 1v1 , in conclusion Liverpool won because of Anfield factor, I’m very proud of with the performance…..

George they did check Sancho penalty, Sue Smith on ref watch thought it was a penalty 1. IF either of Forfana or Colwill is missing we should try Veiga or James at CB 2. The quicker we sell the 3 stooges the better (Desasi, Badiashile and Tosin) 3. Agree that Palmer should have gone to the RW and Nkunku behind Jackson 4. Caseido and Latvia should be first choice 5. Sanchez needs to go, Kepa is lightyears in front of him 6. Arne Slott is a bigger complainer then Klopp

Tosin is the guy Fulham fans warned us about. He switches off. Sanchez has been clattering attackers for a year now. We have a lot of potential, but won't get too far with these two. The others are inexperienced. Their decision making and guile to deal with being marked out of games will improve. This game will teach Palmer where his future lies - being man marked in big games

Liverpool did very well defensively and their game management was on point. Lavia and Caicedo played through their midfield in the first half multiple times but the attackers simply didn't have the cutting edge to force an error or get shots on target before conceding the penalty. We started very bright in the second half and awarded with a goal but we concede right away with a sublime assist of Mo Salah. From that point, I knew Chelsea was gonna lose. I was hoping we could at least get an equaliser but Liverpool made it so hard for our attackers to even get a shot away. It was frustrating but it's not everyday you come to Anfield and dominate them.

We need to be able to take Cole off when needed. His sub is not a push-over. It's Joao Felix. The man needs his chance in the Prem. And I do not understand why we leave Mudryk off the squad. We have two LWs, and we do not choose to keep the two in the matchday squad. We need to use our guns even against the teams like Liverpool, not just against Gent. Lastly, we need to sort our midfield out based on who needs to play and we have to strengthen our defence and the keeper in January.

It was a good game and you could tell Arne slot did his homework in regards to our attacking players and knew their weaknesses in terms of closing them down. The way we played has made me confident that we could hit top 4 even with this loss. Last season I had no faith we would get top 8 let alone top 4.

I disagree with you On Neto. I will play Sacho for 90 minutes instead. Palmer should have gone to the right and jao Felix on the 10. Yes, the Sancho foul was a stonewall pen, but I love that Maresca does not whine about the reffing - it’s all about the football we play. That’s class.Chelsea were impressive, but Liverpool look really scary every time they break. Caicedo was beast mode today. Palmer was covered too well by Liverpool defense. Their overall defense was much better and coordinated. Tosin is just not sharp and smart enough for this type of games. For me only one big mistake stood out - ENZO FERNANDEZ!!! He was so invisible, so bad at positioning. I watched him closely and it was baaad. He tried to be everywhere too often finding himself out of the action, not offering himself with his movement. Instead of covering the space between Moises, Cole and Pedro, he was just standing too long at on place and then suddenly he was right in front of the goal (each sides) missing the action. Liverpool halves made him look like a foolish child and and think this potentially lost our game. At the end respect and congrats to Liverpool, draw would be best, but this is football. At least I saw our players giving everything and leaving their best on the pitch.

Wish it had gone differently but we lost 2-1 Away to the first place team in the league, it's not the end of the world. The game was very tight, we were very competitive. Ref wasn't on our side (which oddly some Liverpool fans feel hard-done-by, which is mental) but VAR made the game mostly fair. The biggest message I got from this game was that Maresca's system is working, he prepared well, probably Neto should have started, but guess what? He made the correct subs and he made them pretty early, none of this weird 'oh we'll be shit until the 67th minute before making changes' stuff. He knew what to do and did it. Honestly we missed Cucurella so much today, that's my biggest point of annoyance. Marc was the exact kind of defender we needed, and he would have been at this game if it wasn't for that stupid ref's ego trip at Bournemouth. I've seen some braindead over-reacting takes, I'm still excited about the team, still excited about the manager, we're doing fine, this just didn't go our way.
