You have underrated Gusto man. Enzo has a lot to offer to the team. Jackson has a lot to improve especially his finishing and his temper.

Problem for Gusto isn't that he's fundamentally "not good enough". It's just that he's a classic "modern fullback", meaning he's up and down the right flink near the sideline. He's world class at that job, only now he's asked to be a central midfielder. And he's not a world class central midfielder. He might become one eventually but at the moment he's raw, a bit headlessly chickeny, and frankly not the best. Given that we're not playing with attacking fullbacks, having Gusto-Cai in midfield should feel like we've actually got some midfield control and aren't a midfielder short. It doesn't feel that way though. That's because we absolutely are a midfielder short with Gusto helping Cai. At this point I'm starting to think that Gusto as an Azpi-like CB (but with pace) and moving Cucu forward might be quite a lot better. And as for Enzo, he has skills but he's mostly a ball distribution guy, and this team doesn't really need a ball distribution specialist that can't do anything but ball distribution. He has to either be more reliable defensively or start offering a lot more interplay and creative bite offensively. Or start scoring goals. Or making those Gallagher-like intensive runs off the ball.

I‘m so glad Jadon ended up at Chelsea. At BVB we love him and he’s been my favorite player since I first saw him perform in our U23 team. Chelsea has always been my second team and I barely missed a game in the last 6 years. Seeing Sancho in a different shirt hurts, but at least he’s a blue now! Def. has the potential to become the best dribbler in world football.

Thing is about Sancho, he’s been massive for us but he clearly lacks confidence. Contrary to Noni we saw especially against forest he doesn’t shoot when he should and we know how good he can be of a finisher. He needs to build up his confidence and I think he can get even better for us.

Agreed with almost everything but I would replace Sancho with Noni. Last season I was probably Noni's biggest critic but he has grown immensely and is one of my favourites. People say hes cocky and selfish but to me hes just confident and he's hungry. He's not selfish he's just a natural goal-scorer, they all shoot when they know they can its just instinct

@@Thakgalang011 I agree . I think he's decent because he understands the basics doesn’t make too many touches. He's neat and tidy and releases the ball quickly. My only issue with him is that I think he plays too safe.. i think he's a little scared of making mistakes. He rarely takes on players and rarely makes long passes or doesn'tmake defence splitting passes. he needs to take a little of a risk sometimes and try to create chances... What I think he needs is to go out on loan and get experience. Otherwise, the potential is there

Gusto is a good player but not so much in the role of fullback inverting into midfield. If he was being used as a regular modern fullback, he'd be amazing but that's just not how we're playing.

imo, KDH and Enzo have so many flaws because of their position. we use 4-2-3-1 when defending and 3-2-4-1 when attacking, forcing both of them to be very active centrally, both defensive and attacking. and because of that burden, with their current form, they look like championship players. so I think to overcome this, their other pair (Caicedo and Casadei) should perform much harder when we transition between formations. so Caicedo and Casadei need to improve a lot more to cover for their partners.

You'd ask even more from Cai and Casadei to allow KDH and Enzo to slack off even more? Really? Enzo and KDH have to figure out if they're midfielders or attackers. If they're the former then they have to put the big boy pants on, pull their heads, fingers, and various other appendages out of their backside, and start doing to the grunt work expected from midfielders with the level of intensity expected from midfielders. And if they're the latter and thus somewhat excused from getting their socks dirty then they have to deliver offensively like attackers. What doesn't work is Enzo and KDH excusing themselves from intensive defensive work because they "have to save energy for attacking" and then not actually attacking because "I'm a midfielder, I can't go into that scary penalty box and brawl with those defenders!! Look how big and scary they are!!".

@@Monochromatic_Spider thing is enzo is a 4-4-2 type of CM, whereas KDH is more of an attacking midfielder. both of them are playing crazy out of their position. maybe if our defensive midfielder can help our attack it would be great, but then again Palmer is such an amazing player he always helped the right side both when we're attacking and defending. look at man city, they have de bruyne, gundogan, and b.silva. kova and rodri are the caicedo and casadei in our team. cant really compare them 😂

As for Palmer he is great and has lots of potential but he is not the best player in the world. He has huge lagoons of inefficiency and selfishness. And he tends to disappear against top teams. Sorry George love your videos mate and respect everyone’s right to their own opinions/standards but I think you’ve gone off the rails a bit with this one. GUSTO has been good. He’s been doing the job that he’s been asked even though naturally he’s not used to the inverted role. If he needs to improve, then so does the rest of the backline not just fofana. SANCHEZ - good? Over needs to improve ? You’ve lost me there. He’s been directly involved in opposition goals or mistakes leading indirectly to goals (despite what enzo says about playing from the back) for two seasons now. He doesn’t look comfortable as the keeper at all except some(yep SOME) world class saves. ENZO - for his potential and price tag - I think he definitely sits in between needs to improve and bad And honestly I don’t think anyone can be in the TOP category except Cole Palmer and maybe Caicedo… Think back to our players under Conte - I could have put in EDEN, WILLIAN, KANTE, COSTA, LUIZ, AZPI in that top. How can you put the others this season in that top there? Lol Cole is top and rest need to improve mate. I don’t think anyone’s been ‘good either’ especially not sanchez

Let's get it straight, Sanchez is a great goal keeper, what Maresca is asking him for is to be midfield distributor as well, how can you put Disasi and Gusto in the same category, you lose credibility. You contradict yourself , you say Caicedo has been great and it's not the fault of Caicedo (who by the way was voted best in the world by CIES at his position) yet you put him at good when he's been one of our top three players. The fact that i can't remember a thing Casadei has done means he needs to improve and you put him on the level of Felix is baffling. Noni belongs in the top category, he's doing exactly what the coach wants him to do and has had a much higher player rating than Sancho.Your rating gets 75%..
