I've watched Sydnie's performances on BGT many many times on many different reaction channels . Your analysis is up there with the best. First album My Way comes out 9/20/24. UK tour of about 18 cities in the month of October, 2024, and then the Royal Variety Show before the King of England and other royals in November, 2024. I think she said she’s in Prague recording the album this weekend and it’s being recorded in one day. BGT has everything all lined up for her.

Sydnie does a fantastic job singing this as she only had 3 days between the semifinals and the finals. This is Loren Allred’s version from AGT Fantasy League earlier this year. You actually heard it playing after Sydnie finished singing Tomorrow in her audition. Loren is her idol, and Loren gave Sydnie her blessing and congratulated her afterward. A collaboration between the 2 is expected soon. About time you listen to Loren, who is the original singer of Never Enough.

Someone in one of the podcast reviews said she had many years experience in her field. And the reason she may not have got the parts was that a lot of the singers were already established and she would have played them down with her strong voice. Well the cream always rises to the top.

I think her album might be called My Way. The song title is on the slbum cover. I normally like the singers on BGT the best. Susan Boyle and Sarah Ikumu were terrific. The latter sang I'm Telling You, Purple Rain, and Rise. Simon gave her a Golden Buzzer. I learned to like opera, too. Jonathan Antoine, among others. The Champions shows are very good. Cristina Ramos who won Spain's Got Talent combines Rock and Opera is in one of those shows. Those are well worth reviewing.

Yes, I was going to mention Loren's version as well, Loren is Sydnie's idol, but I think Sydnie was much better. Sydnie invoked more emotion and used the camera and hand movements to perfection and made you feel as part of the performance even though you were just watching through a screen, whereas Loren's, who was perfect vocally, appeared more manufactured with her hand movements and not as aware of the camera. That's just experience, I think, but Sydnie nailed it, extended the notes longer, her version was much better, her personality, it resonates through her entire being, as though she was born on stage.

Although Sydnie’s BGT performance of Over the Rainbow (after a mere three days’ preparation, apparently) may not quite reach the technical excellence of Loren Allred’s AGT Fantasy League performance, its emotional intensity and impact are, for me, the greater. However, the primary purpose of watching and listening to these extraordinary performances should not be to draw fine distinctions between them but simply to luxuriate in the thrilling sensation of their transcendent beauty. A great assessment, George; you are clearly enamoured.👍

Iz is my favorite version, but loren allred and sydnie both did well. The first time i heard IZ was on the show ER then i googled him and was absolutely stunned with all his songs, i have his cd's in my car as of this posting..
