Georgia is a country located at the crossroads of Eastern Europe and Western Asia, bordered by Russia to the north, Turkey and Armenia to the south, and Azerbaijan to the southeast. Its capital and largest city is Tbilisi. Georgia has a diverse landscape that includes mountains, valleys, and a stretch of coastline along the Black Sea. Georgia has a rich history that dates back thousands of years, with influences from various empires and civilizations including the Greeks, Romans, Persians, and Ottoman Empire. The country has a unique culture that is characterized by its cuisine, music, dance, and traditional practices. Georgia declared independence from the Soviet Union in 1991 and has since pursued political and economic reforms to strengthen its democracy and improve its economy. The country is known for its wine production, with a tradition that dates back over 8,000 years. Georgia is also a popular tourist destination, known for its historic sites, natural beauty, and warm hospitality. Some of the most popular attractions in Georgia include the ancient city of Mtskheta, the mountain region of Svaneti, and the seaside town of Batumi.

Thank you for your very warm video , you've managed to show Georgia with so much respect to locals. Most of all, you've made a huge focus on a whole country, and not just Tbilisi and Batumi, which is extremely great. Georgians are very very proud people and that should be taken into account always by those who come. However, talking of Russia, opinion in Georgia is actually pretty divided, so, perspective here doesn't look objective.. Older generations may be nostalgic about soviet times and they may point out higher living standards in 1970s than today or even praise Stalin openly, while youngsters obviously oppose Russian influence as you've showed. And those who relocated were not neccesarly "russian nationalists" and the problem was that they didn't understand the country much or showed too much arrogance towards downsides of the country. And many of them are leaving the country anyway

OMG!!!! I am Georgian living in Toronto Canada for last 8 years, I miss my country a lot + I was super interested to hear from foreigners perspective about my country and was super excited to watch it. What made it even better compared to other vlogs about Georgia is you VISITED A VERY TINY SETTLEMENT SURAMI, ( 22:36 ) , where you visited “Fortress of Surami “- სურამის ციხე. Because Surami is so small settlement it is usually ignored by most of the tourists/vlogs but you did not. It is also known for Fresh air since its located right on Likhi mountain range in the centre of 🇬🇪 Very good video, overall !

I promise the dogs were not dead. I travel that route a lot, they get FED so much bread , that they take VERY very long naps, and they are treated with respect. Actually, there is a super famous street dog called კუპატა who was forced to go on a diet. (it was in the news because of his hero status). Street dogs also have numbered "houses " in Batumi where they are tagged and treated like little guardians. გაუმარჯოს საქართველოს! ! Long live Georgia.

I`m Russian. This video literally made me cry twice🥺 First in the beginning, when I realised how much I miss this country and Georgian people (the friendliest and most hospitable in the world) and that I relly want to come back, to explore this culture more and to improve my knowledge of Georgian language And the second time during the dialogue with the guy in the end, realising that Georgian people hate us and don`t want us to be there... There is definitely a reason for that, but that`s extremelly sad that Georgians think that all the Russians support the government. To be fair, there are loads of Putin supporters (propaganda is the only thing that works well in Russia), but still there are thousands of those who are against. I love my country, but I hate our poliсу and it was impossible for me to stay there anymore, the war propaganda all around my city drove me crazy. I left Russia and spent half a year in Georgia, and it was one of the best periods of my life! I keep the warmest memories of Georgia. This counrty will always take a special place in my heart🙏
