Another way to do it which would have been faster and less stressful would have been to download and copyright what he uploaded and to copyright it as her image. Then to have sued him. He would have had to part with all the money he made from his nasty behaviour and maybe more. Also any men who had downloaded would have been less inclined to share even between friends, and would have been more inclined to delete anything on their tech. He is probably receiving some kudos from a certain type of men who might feel sorry he was nicked and found guilty of a criminal offence, but simply being sued for breach of copyright wouldn't be likely to garner the same level of sympathy from that sort. Mind, it would be possible to copyright and sue in civil court, and take the police route.

Not to blame her in any way, shape, or form. The actions of this dude are disgusting. Having said that, her saying that she was surprised that he has shown no remorse; she’s known this guy for how long and never picked up the Bear is a scummy sociopath after everything else and every other way that has cheated and slighted her and had never demonstrated remorse or taken ownership of his actions in the past….word of advice for others, when someone shows you who they are, believe them.

I must admit I wouldn't have wanted it to go viral if I were the victim (not that I would be at my old age 😂), and I expect the young lady is being paid fees for interviews for now, which might make her seem less genuine to some people. However, he did what he did without her knowledge and consent and didn't delete as she asked him to. It was a nasty thing to do - and many men have done the same over the years even before social media. Some men used to secretly tape themselves having sex with their wives or girlfriends and sell the tapes to porn places, and send stills to porn magazines supposing their wives or girlfriends wouldn't find out. Probably many wives and girlfriends didn't, but enough did and of course it was horrible for them, especially if they had broken up with the creep and were seeking or had met a better man. Such a discovery later on could ruin a new relationship or marriage to someone else, especially in those days. So it's a really good thing that he was found guilty and sentenced. It was brave of her as she went through two years of stress and was reliant first on the police and the CPS, then on the jury as well as public opinion and the media. It could have gone against her at any time and then she would have been in more of a pickle. So tbh, if she is gaining a few pounds in interview fees for now then perhaps she deserves to as a reward. She has provided a very good service to other ladies, because although there have been other successful cases before they haven't generally gained enough publicity to act as much of a warning to creeps such as him.
