I heard he was looking after his grandmother who was very sick, when she died it broke his heart and he took his own life. He was also in a lot of debt and his best friend had died that Christmas. By that logic (since everyone you ever meet is going to die at some point), no one would ever express truly how they perceived someone to their face because they would know that at one point they would die. Don't sugarcoat Michael, just cos he's dead. It changes nothing about his persona in this video. Having said that, from this point onwards we can be compassionate about the passing of Mike without sugarcoating who he genuinely was as evidenced by videos, and if we can't be compassionate, we could just leave the topic altogether.
