Just realized you are the only one who's video intro is fun to watch. I never miss it. All other videos I skip the intros, sometimes I thumb them down for the intros. The only part I dislike on your videos is the end. Wish they had no end.

I love watching Traveling Robert. I am a regular watcher since I seen his Amazon Prime show. I am going back now and catching up on all the old shows. I love this video as a Georgian. This is always our quick late summer retreat going to north Georgia and escaping the south Georgia heat. It so beautiful up there.

Greetings Robert. You make excellent videos and your voice is easy to listen to. Next time you come to Ellijay, you might stay at Doll Mountain State Park and grab a spot over-looking Carter's Lake. And also, next time, a must stop is Amicalola Falls State Park which is the largest falls east of the Mississippi. The restaurant on top of the mountain has a most spectacular view while dining. Oh...and if you are into "Moonshine" you can actually buy some in the nearby town of Dawsonville where you can also visit Bill Elliott's Georgia Racing Hall of Fame. Oh, and lastly, no need to be suspicious of bagged apples at B.J. Reece Apple House. He and his family have grown their own apples here for decades.

Traveling Robert also, next time you’re up in the north Georgia area, stop by Dahlonega, Georgia. they have a nice little roundabout in town with some restaurants and stores surrounding the roundabout and it also surrounds the gold museum😁

After visiting the north Georgia area, the town of Blairsville since 2004, I learned quickly the best time to catch any kind of color in north Georgia is like the last week in October. I usually go the last day in October and stay through the first week in November😁. My family has always had a certain affection for Ellijay because it used to be a little bit of a running joke that the town was named after my first name and my brother’s first name. My nickname is Ellie and my brother’s name is Jay!😂😂😂. But I do love the north Georgia mountains for sure!
@Sedan57Chevy7 жыл бұрын
My home area! Ellijay certainly is a small, quiet town with not a lot going on. The downtown area has struggled over the years to keep businesses (aside from antiques) around for too long, but the current crop and a new downtown association is actually bringing in some more attention at our two yearly events: Apple Arts (the downtown version of the concurrent Apple Festival, on the 2nd and 3rd weekends of October) and Light up Ellijay, which occurred a couple weeks ago. Blue Ridge is a much more thriving town, for locals and tourists. Hope you enjoyed your stay!

Hey Robert you do a really great job. I am originally from Miami but now live in Marietta, GA.....I love the videos your doing here in Georgia. I would ask you one favor....slow down, open up and take in the peace and slow pace of Georgia. Its not as faced paced as Miami...so relax and enjoy a burger that may have taken 1 hour to get...it was awesome, wasn't it! Have fun and enjoy the little things...you know, the things that you don't get in Miami. As much as I miss Miami, I love Georgia and it has really opened me up to being patient and enjoying the slower pace.

At 29:56 the building with the sun shining on it is an excellent restaurant called Cajun Depot. Great steaks and ribs, little pricey but very good. Robert my husband is going to love you...lol. After months of contemplating a relocation from Philly to NE Florida between Daytona and St. Augustine you have infected me with the mountain bug. I’ve lived in Miami for 35 years, so something NEW is attractive. I’ve been baptized with 30 inches of snow in Philly, so Blue Ridge mountains is nothing. We’re going this Spring to check it out. Properties cost a lot less than Florida. I like the RV adventures too....haha hes’ gonna love you for that too.

I have done lots of research, I’d be happy to share info with you. As a Florida Realtor, its a habit to be very thorough. We’re looking for our LAST stop place to retire into our golden years. I’ve done lots of tax burden comparisons between GA and FL. So far, GA has better benefits for 62 and older for the long term. Although there is State Tx unlike FL..the lower cost of living leverages the difference. Here’s my email if you’d like more details. I’m comparing homeowners insurance now...Dora.realtor.miami@gmail.com. I’d be happy to share info. Your videos have really been helpful.

I need to clarify "global warming" for you. Yes, I do believe our global climate may be shifting. Is "man" creating it?......I believe not. So you may consider me on of those who believe warming is a hoax. Polar ice caps are growing in size. Ask those folks if the global warming, by "man", is real.
