“Georgia on my mind” (1930) by Hoagy Carmichael / Stuart Gorrell, lyrics by Ray Charles. Arranged by Brent Edstrom. This is a very well known jazz standard. Multiple instrumental and voice variations were done over the years of this beautiful song. It became official state song in 1979.
