I’m with you on this one. I don’t understand the Stetson hate, but every single TANGIBLE thing you want as a QB, stet has. 1. Arm Strength (even though haters swear he doesn’t) 2. Speed/quickness 3. Decision making 4. ACCURACY 5. Preparation 6. Leadership 7. Toughness He may be “undersized” but he’s not going to have trouble seeing over lines more than anyone else, seeing as lineman avg 6’4” or taller… not very many QB’s are that size anymore. The game has changed and Stetson is the guy you want on that field, period. And (in my opinion) his growth as a QB from even 2020 is unparalleled at the CFB level. Anyone who says otherwise doesn’t actually watch any games he’s played in & would rather quote other idiots from comment sections 🤷🏻‍♂️

I don’t think Stetson Bennett could’ve been put in a better position than the Rams. He’s playing for an incredible coach in Sean McVay, and Matthew Stafford is getting up there in age and may retire within the next few years. Over that time Bennett can learn from a great quarterback in Stafford and learn McVay’s playbook so that he’s adequately prepared to take the reigns in LA when Stafford does retire. Not only that but with Cooper Kupp at the wideout, he’s got quite the advantage. I’m not saying that he’ll win another Super Bowl for LA but I believe that this situation could be an extremely great advantage to turn Bennett into a franchise quarterback. I wish him nothing but the best and hope he succeeds in the NFL.

It would be such a Seahawk-y move to use their first 4 picks on Defense added to their impressive draft last year and draft Bennett in the 3rd round and win a SB with him. The kid has the talent and speed. I think his career trajectory could be like Russell Wilson in the right scenario. Whether he could adjust once his speed declines is another story.

Age is important because if far more telling to be dominating in college at age 20 rather than age 24. Lastly he's a fourth round pick and may not get many opportunities. Only successful hits I can think of in the fourth are Kirk Cousins and Dak Prescott. Like I said I'm rooting for him. But these are all the variables working against him.
