Georgia Renaissance Festival 2021: GARF in the Time of the Plague

I am an avid Renaissance Festival attendee. Not being able to go in 2020 just about killed me. So, I decided to document the day we were able to return to the festival scene! This was a new one for us, and honestly… we loved it so much more than the Colorado Renaissance festival… probably because there was actual shade!! Like, a lot of it!!

The best thing to do to avoid standing out is putting on garb(costume). You can pick and customise it to your style and culture. Then you will become part of the atmosphere, not just a tourist. Trust me Natalie. Nothing's more fun then dressing up and becoming a part.

You'll definitely want to bring cash. Not many vendors use card readers because the cell service/wifi is spotty at best! Food and drink is all cash only. There are atms if you run out of cash but they can have long lines.
