What a cool series visiting stadiums! My first game at Sanford- Georgia/Georgia Tech 1986, 11 years old. Besides the many other football games there over the years, Olympic soccer was played there while I was a student. I got to see the US Women win the gold medal in person. The hedges were removed to allow for the larger pitch, but new hedges grown from the originals were raised in a secret location and installed before the next cfb season.

That dorm you didn't know the name of is Payne Hall. I spent my freshman year of 1965-66 in Room 238 Payne Hall. It was a men's dorm then, but last time I was there it was a women's dorm.

Georgia runs buses before and after the game on Saturday. The stadium is downtown, on campus, so land is a premium. Most parking decks are a mile or so away, but you won’t have to walk. The buses will take you right to the stadium and right back to your parking area, and it’s a free ride. There are plenty of bus stops within a short walk of pretty much every game day parking area.

thank you for clearing that up; Sanford Stadium is really cool, and I was happy to be there during construction so I could see what it's going to look like in the future. Thanks for watching!

They removed all of those chair backs from that entire section for the improvements that are being done on the stadium. There are normally tons of chair backs in that section as well because that’s where I sit. Nice video!

There are five garages and lots of surface parking within walking distance, just have to know where they are. Should’ve walked down under the plaza where the video board is, really nice area down there.

Before the stadium expansion you could see the football field from the top floor rooms in Reed Hall

The "chair backs" are bought by the seat holder. No chair backs in the visitor section or the student section. And, it appears that they are waiting for the south side construction to be completed before they put the chair backs in the $$$Alumni section.

go look at my video of North Carolina's stadium. They are literally 95% chairbacks, and that baby blue looks amazing. If Georgia had all chairbacks, in that Georgia red, the inside of the stadium would look phenomenal.

Parking? It's called tailgating......and you better get there early!

Georgia's stadium is amazing; but I have seen a few, Texas Tech comes to mind, where they have a parking garage either near the stadium or right next to it. As much as I don't like Texas, they have 4 different parking garages that are available on Saturdays.

Nice video, but I'm confused by how you think having Papa John's makes great concessions, when it's NOT even good pizza?
