Nice trip and video. We always travel as cheaply as possible also. Nothing wrong with that. Interesting how the rear facing phone camera creates the illusion that your vehicle is a right hand drive. 👍👍

Road Trip!! How fun this series will be! Oregon has some beautiful places! We are actually spending a week and half up there at the end of the month! I can't wait to see the places you get see there! Nice look at the castle. There are some beautiful spots at the lake of the ozarks, and they have beautiful springs out there! 😊

We had a great time on this trip! Can't wait to share the rest of the videos 😁 You're going to have a blast! It's so beautiful there! Just make sure to plan around all the wildfires. When we were there they were 15 going at the same time around the state. Seen smoke all over the place! There should be an app you can download or a website you can visit to see where they're at. Definitely want to go back and visit the Lake of the Ozarks it looked really beautiful there!

Thank you for taking us along, Such an awesome adventure! Next year, I am planning on doing a cross country exploration = Delaware to Oregon starting going across the northern states with many stops, then going down the Pacific coast and coming back through the southern states. I travel what I call smart spending - I pack food, camp free as much as possible, and visit many places that are free. I plan we'll ahead so I am prepared but remain flexible because it's all about enjoying the adventure and being in the moment! Enjoy. Be safe. God bless

Man that's going to be an epic adventure for sure! At the end of our trip we logged around 7,200 mi must we've ever done! So far the Pacific Coast is our absolute favorite! Wish it wasn't so far away lol Hopefully next time we're able to do something like this we can have like a small camper or something so we can stay for even cheaper or boondock. We're back home safely now We appreciate it! We had an amazing trip can't wait to share all the videos 😁

The castle and Lake of the Ozarks were super cool. Thanks for bringing us along and we'll look forward seeing two on the next one, safe travels! Cheers, Tom & Suzanne

Thank you for sharing your adventures. I visited Mammoth Springs Park last year. It was nice to see it again. What camera do you use that you are able to zoom? I only have a GoPro to film my adventures. Looking forward to seeing your next video.
@NickandRachel
@NickandRachel 20 күн бұрын
That springs was awesome first time we ever been! So usually I film with a Sony A7S3 with a 24 - 70 zoom lens. That's what I feel I'm on my hiking videos with and I'd say about 98% of the videos on this channel. This particular video and all the vlogs that I've made have been filmed with my cell phone. I was using a Samsung Galaxy s24 ultra to film this video. You should definitely check out our other videos they're way more cinematic and look a lot better! We got one more road trip blog to drop and then we'll be posting all the hikes we did while we were in Oregon. If you want to check out the camera gear we use you can click the link in the description of the video or the pin comment and find it all. Appreciate you watching and commenting 😁

I'm from NE TN and lived in Wichita KS and Iowa for a combined 11 years, so I know how it feels to miss the sweet tea. If you are in the mid West and can find a McAllister's Deli, and they do exist in the mid West area, they have sweet tea, they have very large sweet tea and it's a very good sweet tea.

This is great, a Santos type of Road Trip. I like the adventure before the hike. Not use to seeing you guys at a hotel, usually you are in a tent. We travel cheap also. That pyramid is so cool. I would love to live in a pyramid like that if I hit the lotto. You guys have inspired me to do a road trip vlog for my Dallas trip.

Yeah you got to travel cheap if you're going to do it often! Eventually it just becomes the norm I don't really think about it lol Would be crazy to have a room at the top lol That'll be a fun trip! Surprised y'all haven't done road trip vlogs already lol

The last time we were in Washington before this trip We spent most of our time around forks and Port Angeles couldn't find any sweet tea there lol We only spent a few hours in Seattle. Very nice initial video of your trek. The castle reminds me of the Dungeness Ruins on Cumberland Island. Regarding your trips you have planned: between you coming up with points of interest and your wife organizing the itinerary do y’all use a particular app for storing your trips you have planned out?

I've seen pictures and yet it does kind of look the same! We need to go out to Cumberland Island I'd like to do the backpacking trail out there!
