Hey, I’m a voter in Georgia and y’all failed to show any young voter. The young voter turn out for this election has been huge, broken state records over this election. Y’all failed to highlight the impact or even acknowledge what young voters are thinking or want. I’m disappointed to see such a disregard for a group of voters by not having an young voter there to participate.

@TBFSJjunior5 жыл бұрын
@Walk Away "Start thinking" Oh the irony. "Your programming from MSM" Luckily I escaped that. "Leftist ideas" Good one. The MSM often called cooperate media is right wing in its core. Yes they sometimes try to come across as left wing, but when you look into it, it is just a scapegoat. The US has no left wing media and politicians are either far right (like Trump) or center right (like Clinton or Obama).
@pepps7795 жыл бұрын
What truly shows how unrealistic their ad picks were here is how only one out of the four they picked was an 'attack' ad against the opposing politician. It is much rarer to see an ad with someone talking about themselves, like their ideals, etc., than it is to see an ad bashing a candidate. Basically, the story was inherently slanted, be it toward the Democrats or just toward the portrayal of a more positive election marketing style that does not exist, by the ads they included and discluded from the presentation to their sample group of voters.
@TBFSJjunior5 жыл бұрын
@Walk Away "What planet are you on?" Earth...and it is a globe, just in case you are one of those right wingers who things it is flat. "MSM is right wing" It is. When was the last time you have seen a left wing champion like Noam chomsky on any MSM channel? I could give you countless videos of the MSM praising right wing wars and the military industrial complex. Social democracy which is a center left capitalistic system is labeled socialist by the MSM in the US. Bernie Sanders, who would be a centrist in most of Europe, is labeled a far left socialist by the MSM, while he is a social Democrat (aka capitalist). The MSM preferred to show an empty podium of Trump and gave him free advertising in the billions, while ignoring Sanders who actually spoke at the same time, basically securing Trumps victory. The MSM tries to appeal left and it seems it worked on you, while actually it is owned by big corporations and deeply right wing.

he is by far the best vice reporter, I've loved every piece he has made. he's both impartial and fair.
@BrokeredHeart5 жыл бұрын
Except, he's not a reporter, he was a Republican campaign strategist and pollster for many years. That's why he's so good at hosting these focus groups and directing discourse. Frank Luntz was Newt Gingrich's pollster in the 90s, and worked behind the scenes with the George W Bush administration. He worked on both McCain's and Mitt Romney's presidential campaigns, and even worked in foreign general elections for the UK, Australia and Ireland. He was far from an impartial voice, and spent the 8 years of Obama's administration trying to find leverage on his policies to do as Mitch McConnell wished, to hold him to a single term. He failed. But in doing so, he helped Republican members learn how to effectively reframe their political views to encourage red state voter turnout. But then his re-branding idea got ripped from his own hands and was taken even further right by Trump, who engaged a peripheral extremist right, which frightened the hell out of Luntz. There's a previous documentary Vice did in the closing weeks of Obama's presidency before the 2016 election, in which Luntz admits his fear and dismay, and actually joked about his recent purchase of pasture land in New Zealand to escape the rapidly spiraling situation in the US. If he's now firmly staying on American soil to engage the voters and continue his focus groups and brainstorming sessions, it's an odd pathway to a sort of redemption for him. He helped to distort the talking points and give politicians the ability to engage the public in convincing "double speech." And it worked to such a magnificent scale that I don't think even he anticipated the ensuing divides to be so quickly ripped further apart. So, I'm still wary of Frank leading these discussions. They are a great window into how average citizens and voters think and feel. But knowing how he has used that before to structure political messaging around that to partisan advantage makes me trust him less.

From my perspective, Democrats will vote for Democrats, regardless of how openly vile or currupt the candidate is. The more the candidate plays into their anti-intellectualism, the more likely they'll vote for the candidate. This is what history has shown. Non-Left wing people have to vote based on decency, empathy, economic savvy, intelligence and now'a days, the lack of corporate relationships while also getting more non-Left Wingers to participate in voting. When it comes to the Democrats, I'm hoping I'll be proved. I doubt it thought.

And please don’t draw false equivalency with Antifa, they rarely commit violence and when they do it’s breaking stuff, not killing people. I mean right wing terrorism makes up 71% of terrorist events in the USA in the last decade, doesn’t that tell you there is a problem? (And for context 36% is Islamic terrorism and the remaining 3% is broken up to left wing radicals, non-white hate groups etc.. so the left represents less than 3%)
