It’s a little known fact that Great Britain really was black & white in the 1930s. It wasn’t until the government bought in a surplus of dyes and paints from one of our many colonies that the country became more colourful

I think you are wrong sir . I believe that colour came into Britain in about 66 when someone slipped some lysergic acid into the Beatles morning cuppa ✌️

Hi Georgia ✌️. I don't want to imply that you have overextended yourself ( Women know your limits is another great sketch ) but you may have missed a subtle nuance . You see back in the day the sniffy middle-classes really did hold those stereotypes about working class people . A very common trope was ' there is no point building decent houses for them - they will only wreck them ' . A very common one was ' there is no point putting bathrooms in council houses because they only put their coal in them ' . If you haven't seen it watch Harry Enfield's satire about BBC2. It certainly punctures some egos 🙂. Have a nice day .

I've never really seen the point in a mansion unless you have 20 kids. It take you a ten minute walk just for a piss or a cuppa. You'd rattle around in there like a frozen pea in a bucket. 😂✌️♥️🇬🇧

I don't know about a Mansion bit for three years working abroad I lived in a house that had, kitchen, Dining room, Living room and Bedrooms each individually with larger sq.footage than my house in UK. And yes you're right, I set up a little table with kettle and the makings in my bedroom because it was so damn far to walk to the bloody kitchen. But you know what else it was, unbelievably east and quick to clean. All furniture up one end, clean floors etc and them clean furniture, move it up clean end and clean remaining. Push furniture back and Bob's your Uncle 😁

Where I lived, in the UK, when I was a kid in the 1940's there were not even flush toilets outside. It was down the bottom of the garden and was just wood with a hole in it, on top of a bricked enclosure. There was a man with a horse and cart who went down the garden with two buckets and a ladle and emptied them. We couldn't have proper toilets because there was no sewage system in the village.

While this skit satirises prejudices about the "working class" there is a well entrenched habit of making sweeping generalisations about one group of people or another. "The French are...The Germans are..." This was taken to absurd levels when British WWll pilots were told that Japanese pilots would be ineffective because...wait for it...they were carried on their mothers' backs as babies.

It's her channel. Also, if you just want to see the original video, then click on the link to that video. It's really not hard to do. And would you like her to try and remember everything and spend minutes referring to "that bit where they said this" and "that bit where they said that"...? Pretty sure you'd have been the first person to whinge about that, then told her to stop the video and do each comment, then continue etc etc.
