I just loved this video David so many new foods to learn about. Never knew about churchkela and fruit leather and the amazing varieties of cheese. Thnx fr the trip down Georgian food lanes. I had eaten at a famous Georgian restaurant yrs back in Moscow and simply loved their vegetarian food . Seems like Georgia will now hve to be on my bucket list 😋

Love your videos!! Just a little note for this one - Erekle was neither the last nor the king of Independent and united Georgia. He was the King of the Kingdom of Kartl-Kakheti. Back then, Georgia was divided into numerous kingdoms. The last king of the Kingdom of Kartl-Kakheti was one of Erekle’s many sons - George the 12th. He could not resemble his father less though.

Friend, allowed me to inform you that you are incorporating Russian folk music into your video🤣
@Davidsbeenhere2 жыл бұрын
I'm limited with what music I can use by Copyright. Trust me, I searched ages for Georgian music to use. 😥
@enta22 жыл бұрын
@@Davidsbeenhere Where do you come from? Russian Empire for 300 years tried to wipe out the conquered nations. It is the same as Ottomalian Imperia. This is not like the USA where all were originally "emigrants" and they all have English as a common language. In Russian Imperia, there is Russia the dominant country, and its language is Russian. The countries conquered by Russia are no longer allowed to speak their own language, they must speak Russian. So these are not emigrants like e.g. the Chinese in the United States. There are different races in Russia because Russia went where the Asian countries originally were and conquered those people. This is the difference between China Taun and Buriatia. I hope I explained that well. Russia conquered the countries and told the whole world that these people were now Russians. So when I went to Europe and said that I'm Georgian, I had to talk to every idiot for hours that I'm not Russian and these idiots looked at me like a fanatic and then said ok if you like I'll say that you're Georgian are, but we all know that Georgian and Russian are the same. So I didn't know that with Copyright but for these reasons to put Russian folk music for the Georgian video is really impossible🤣 This is an insult right now when Russia wants to "denazify" Ukraine and is waging war in Ukraine.
