Gerald Lund: Signs of the Second Coming

Elder Gerald Lund began writing his first book about the Second Coming nearly 50 years ago. He has devoted much of his life to studying the topic and recently began working on a rewrite of “The Coming of the Lord.” In this week’s episode, Elder Lund answers questions from Twitter users about the Second Coming.

I’ve been noticing changes in the skies that some may have missed. Have you noticed that the Rainbow has now “doubled”. This started in the year 2016. Another thing that has occurred is that the sundowns or the Skies have become redder and redder. I strongly believe that the Star that mentioned in the scriptures by Samuel, John in Revelations calls It Wormwood and also the Star that is mentioned by the Wisemen. (It’s also mentioned by Malachi in Chapter 4:2. Or the opposing Star to the “Sun” of Righteousness. It’s a Star that will get so close to the Earth that the color of the Moon will turn to blood. Most likely a Red Dwarf. A lot of people report seeing this Star even though our government lies to us and doesn’t tell us about it. But, if our Sun is creating one of the Rainbows. What is creating the 2nd one??? Most of the Solar System’s in our galaxy are Bi-nary systems. Like 85%. And the rest are Trinary. If you read the scriptures very closely you will see the huge Cataclysmic events that repeat occur during Enoch’s time on earth. During Noah’s time. The Flood. During Moses time. Passover and the Plagues of Egypt. Then you have Elijah calling down fire from heaven. And going into a Cave during a huge Earthquake and a great wind. You have Hezekiah and the sun going back in Isaiah 38. Then when Christ is born you have the “new” star. And the star mentioned by Samuel that created an additional day because it passed by the opposite side of the earth. Or the dark side. Creating an additional day. And then the huge Catastrophe that occurs in 3 Nephi chapter 8. Then, the dark ages. Where the Book of Revelations says that at the opening of the 6th seal. Every island and mountain was moved out of their place. (On the earth) This would explain how Egypt became a complete dessert. Yet, Ezekiel 29-32 tells us that Egypt at one time was a land full of rivers and water. And it would explain how Extinct Animals have been “flash frozen” in Siberia. The next and final event is recorded in Revelations Chapter 8-9. The beginning of the Tribulation of the inhabitants of the earth. John mention a “great star” falling to the earth. The word “great” in Latin is Mega. As the Lord states in Section 1 of the D and C. My sword is bathed in heaven and it shall fall on the inhabitants of the earth. That’s why the Lord says “stand in Holy Places”. Because in Holy places we will be safe. In several areas of the scriptures this twin star to our sun is referred to as the “Destroyer”. Have you ever asked yourself why the event in Exodus is referred to as “the Passover”. Or, in other words to Passover the earth. Is the event at the Red Sea crossing created by a “gravity well” passing over that spot on the earth. Or was the flood caused by gravity pulling up on the bottom of the ocean and lifting the surface thereby dispelling the Seas water over the surface of the earth. The more you study it, ponder and pray about it. The more it makes sense. God controls the Heavens.
