My husband and i have visited it couple of times, each time it was raining hard and sky covered in clouds. As we approached it the clouds opened up like in a circle and the sun shown forth very beautiful. The 2nd time my husband mom was with and we told her about the clouds parting as we came up to it. I've researched the scriptures and asked people with keys who would know about Adam-ondi-Ahman in my research and have come to exactly the same sense of understanding about the place and the events past and in the future that have and will take place there. I've also visited the location twice and walked vast portions of the property... the two particular places that you showed in this lecture. Great spiritual promptings came to me while there. Also, Spring Hill, that point there mentioned in the D&C, has some incredible history associated with it. You've nailed the same understanding of this subject that I've gleaned in my years of curiosity and prompted need to know about this place. I plan to purchase your brochure and study it. I’ve noticed that over the last few years that some members feel we will be called to gather at places of safety before going to Missouri. What is your opinion of that?

I'm wondering if the gathering at Adam Ondi Ahman coincides with the parable of The Ten Virgins? That it won't be the entire membership of the Church or just those with a church calling but those who have oil in their lamps, those who have been endowed in holy temples and are being true and faithful to those covenants and actively seeking to be members of the Church of the Firstborn. Couldn't this also be the quickening event where those persons who receive their next assignment are translated as described in D and C 78: 11-22.? There's been so much emphasis on having your temple recommend even with temples closed, to be "recommended to the Lord." That's my honest belief. Please correct me if I'm way off.

Hi Dunlappin, consider the parable of the talents as compared to the meeting(s) of Adam-Ondi-Ahman. This is where all who held keys will report to their priesthood authority. This will all roll up to Adam, and then be presented to Christ.

I think there seems to be some conflicting info on this, or several sessions. I have read that ALL saints would have an opportunity to be here, like a Sacrament meeting. Why would worthy saints that just don't happen to have leadership roles be precluded?

As Tom mentioned, Elder McConkie specified that Faithful Saints would also gather. In president Nelson’s April ensign address he states “The time is coming when those who do not obey the Lord will be separated from those who do” -I believe this is not the world vs church but members of the church. He also states “Why do we need such resilient faith? Because difficult days are ahead. Rarely in the future will it be easy or popular to be a faithful Latter-day Saint. Each of us will be tested. The Apostle Paul warned that in the latter days, those who diligently follow the Lord “shall suffer persecution” (2 Timothy 3:12). That very persecution can either crush you into silent weakness or motivate you to be more exemplary and courageous in your daily lives”. -notice he specifies “faithful” Latter Day Saints Then he qualifies our faithfulness in trial with “being more faithful and exemplary in our daily lives” and “As you keep your covenants with increasing precision, and as you defend the Church and kingdom of God on the earth today, the Lord will bless you with strength and wisdom to accomplish what only members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints can accomplish.” -I agree that we are choosing right now to be all in with the Lord. The middle ground is gone.

After listening to this video, a question came to my mind. When was the land divided to what we know today?

Some food for thought… in D&C 115:7-8, the Lord commands a temple to built at Far West. The Lord referred to it as already being “holy ground”. Far West had to be the site of a temple at some point in the past. Now consider the appearance and ministry of the resurrected Lord as described in 3 Nephi chapters 11-21. The Lord appeared in the vicinity of a temple in the land Bountiful. There, He said a New Jerusalem would be built by a “remnant of Jacob” - reference to the tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh, or those who are adopted into them by patriarchal decree - “in THIS land”. See 3 Nephi 21:22-25. Could the “holy ground” at Far West be the site of the ancient temple at Bountiful? Think about how the prophecies concerning Adam-ondi-Ahman tie into those about the New Jerusalem. Consider the location of Zion and the New Jerusalem as described in Moses 7:62-64. This place is FAR more significant than we realize! It is where the books will be opened and the dead will be judged (Daniel 7:10 and D&C 128:24) In other words, mortal beings present at this event are likely to witness the first resurrections of the millennium. To understand why Elder McConkie describes this as a sacrament meeting, see D&C section 27. 😮

When visions occur on the 4th dimension spiritual plane look for the realization of those visions to occur on the same plane. We must ascend in SPIRIT to what is already prepared for us there rather than expecting God to come to us; which has already occurred. Our turn to ascend through choosing the WILL of GOD wholeheartedly and without knowing what that will is. The material level will hold you back so it must release it from your mind as being the primary thoughts in your mind and actions. You will henceforth be identified as an ASCENDING CHILD OF GOD with an eternal destiny!

Are you up for some questions? Why was Adam commanded to construct the alter out of unhewn stone when in later dispensations the alter was constructed of hewn stone with specific dimensions? Are the righteous saints who are in attendance at the great sacrament meeting exempted from being counted by a child as delineated in Isaiah 10? While traveling through the mid west and east, my former in-laws visited Adam-ondi-Ahman and were surprised to see massive construction (the laying of a waste disposal system and water system). Can you confirm that this has transpired and Adam-ondi-Ahman has been prepared for the great meeting(s) to come?

As far as the second question, it seems to me that Isaiah 10 is talking about after the Lord comes in glory and destroys all the wicked. The great sacrament meeting you are referring to is prior to that. And there being construction there like you are mentioning, I would LOVE to know more about that! :)

For the 10th Article of Faith, I wonder if you didn't touch on it because it wasn't your focus, but don't you think the "and" is really saying AND...like it's a separate thing that follows the gathering. "We believe in the literal gathering of Israel AND in the restoration of the Ten Tribes..." So, this is the 10 lost tribes coming forth from the north countries. That these people will come to Adam Ondi Ahman too? Then they will help build Zion. Let me know your thoughts.
