Man this brings back memories. Especially him talking about Jerry Rhine and lake keowee. In the 90s my dad was a semi pro and had a 15 1/2 glassport bass boat. He won many of tournaments in that old 4K dollar boat and a Carolina rig with a green pumpkin zoom. We loved that boat for many years. Unfortunately in 2007 he had a boating accident and passed away in that boat. But he went out doing what he loved. Thank you for taking me back with this video.

Absolutely love this video Luke! G-Man has to be one of my favorite fisherman, and his saying of PMA, (positive mental attitude) is exactly what they told us in the Marine Corps! Love seeing you and G-Man out on the water together! Can’t wait for the next in this series! This is the Best One though!

Rent free LD,by far this is your best episode of anything you have put out.Real life stuff.I came home from lacrosse practice and told my daddy I wanted to fish high school tournaments, daddy told me great,we have one issue,no boat.My daddy picked me up from practice next day and I told him I had boat issue figured out we can sell our travel trailer and get a bass boat, mama and daddy said ok ,sold it next day and daddy bought me a 16 foot skeeter with a 90 hp Yamaha, it was a fish catching machine.I graduated last year and they bought me a new Triton trx 189. I'm fishing college now and I'm forever grateful for the sacrifices they make for me to live my dream. Keep up the great work and thanks to TH marine for the help they offer us college anglers.

My dad that passed recently had this same boat, we caught lots of crappie and rockfish out of that rig in the Tullahoma tri-lakes region, all small water lol. Back in '97 when my Bumble Bee 200 ProVee went down I borrowed my Dad's little boat and won a derby on Woods Reservoir with 19#+ , was lucky they all stayed alive until weigh-in. Thanks for the video and recalling all the items like a 12V trolling motor and other luxuries we didn't have back then! Love the Waller family that started Bumble Bee years ago in Tullahoma and it's crazy how Stephen Waller has been a big part of the development of Falcon Boats. Appreciate how Luke pointed out the history of how Phoenix Boats started in the old Bumble Bee plant and when Phoenix started up they continued a Bee Line offering for customers until they got traction.

HAHAHA! Brings back memories. I bet Gerald can relate. As young kid of 25, went to Guerrero the year it opened. Drove nonstop from Texarkana, tx to Lake Guerrero, in a Ford Maverick pulling a 15 ft stick steering VIP w/a 50 ho Jonson. Pitched a tent at the old church site of Padilla. Was fishing south along the Ocho River (sp). 3rd day heard a train whistle. Wasn't a train, but wind. Came out of the trees into 5/6 ft waves. Never been so scared if my life. But caught fish till my fingers were raw. Great memories.

@@LukeDunkinsTravelingCircus It's great to hear the true story of bass fishing! The struggles the sacrifice the balance between everyday life and family and the passion that's in us to be great fisherman! I loved this because it is the truth, it's not about the money it's about the love of the sport! I lost my daddy in 2018 and he was my partner from the first time I learned to tie a knot and make a cast. This was great guys I have always been a fan of you both especially ole gman. Earl Benz designed the 196 and Hydra Sports dropped their bass boast line shortly after. Not many were built Ive heard. Maybe that's why it resembles the early Tritons. Fairly fast hull and handles rough water pretty good. Lake Erie! Good to see Gerald back in the Elites. That's real tournament fishing! Best of luck to him.
