@@christina-reporter3287 that’s crazy if it’s an indigenous person role it should played by an actual indigenous person makes sense idk 🤷♂️

@@mrfreeze5524 I totally agree, but it was the late '70s. I wish there were more authentic native american movies today.

@@christina-reporter3287 I know there is enough real indigenous actors out there but it’s very seldom there offer really big roles if its movie to do with something that doesn’t reflect on Native American living experience that’s what’s wrong

I saw the movie "The Car" several years ago. I think it was a TV movie, but I'm not sure. At that time, I didn't know that Geraldine was playing the deputy. She was so hot! But only a year before she was Littte Moonlight in "The Outlaw Josey Wales", perhaps her most iconic performance, in one of my favorite movies of all time. What an actor and what a woman.

As big as the Navajo Nation is, 'kinda surprises me that they couldn't come up with one elderly Navajo woman to play the part they were looking for. Back in those days, 'probably actually more women of that age that were actually speaking Navajo and very little English.

This movie is why I’ll never get on board with driverless cars. They are evil!

She really brings a different look at this crazy old movie. I never realized that the local ethnic influence was so respected. Now, if someone comes out with a story of how the producers actually tried to get Beelzebub to drive the car himself! That'll answer a lot questions.
