He was astounded when I told him the price and immediately ordered one. There is a way to make it even better: add an iFootage SeaStar Q1 Quick disconnect system to your Cobra 2, tripods, and other supports, and heads. The SeaStar allows you to very quickly and securely move the head from one support to the other.

I have the C120-II version and the heigh is enough for me! The C120 has the advantage of a very small package size! - It fits in any backpack! Also the C120 version is a little shorter but the minimal height is actually more stable than the larger minimal height at the C180. So if you like mid-low angle shots go for the C120! Oh and don't forget you can actually stack two C120 together and get insane boom range or monopod length! if you really need to! ;)

Very well done review, probably the best one on KZbin for this product. I already own the monopod and one of their tripods. I have been a pro photog for 33 years now and have tried almost every monopod on the planet. This one is the best for the money of any I have tried. I own 12 other monopods that I have gathered over the years trying to find the ultimate do it all monopod. This is it! I have Gitzo's, Manfrotto's, Giottos and some other brands but this one seems to beat all of the others now. This is the one I take with me all the time. I have been a huge fan of monopods for a long time they are so versatile, they are one of the secret weapons of photography. I use them in all kinds of ways and usages many outside of the box. As you say this monopod allows you a bit more usages even than some of the more expensive units. Good example is using the monopod other way around for mic's, flash units and camera's as you did. I didn't think of that until I owned it for a month. Had I seen your video first, I would have been ahead of the game. :) Well done Gerald, so I subscribed

Excellent monopod video, Gerald! I'm thinking of a monopod to complement my tripods, and am considering either this IFOOTAGE Cobra C180-II (with a Leofoto VH-105 tilting head)....OR a Sirui P-324, but have heard of the following issues. Any thoughts on these alleged “issues" or which monopod is more robust? "The Cobra 2 has a "plastic" ball joint at the base, and the 1/4 3/8 threads don't completely retract for mounting". "The Sirui's ball joint at the base gets dirt/grit easily, making cleaning necessary more often." Thank you!
