To clear any confusion: the surname Iero has been "americanized" by those who emigrated from Italy to the US and there are still people in Italy who are named so (and would laugh at being called eye-ro, obviously). The correct Italian pronunciation is yeah-ro, but in America it's become eye-ro so as Frank's American both versions are correct.
