hey mate yes I bought a fake one in a night market in rural Thailand, the price told me it was fake, but I only wanted a cheap (fruit cutter knife) back in Aussie I thought I might upgrade the blade to something better,, such as HIGH CARBON, before I did I hit the existing blade with a file and guess what, it was very hard steel, so I still have and use it daily my FAKE BEAR Grylls folder, it is NOT GREAT, but A VERY GOOD HAND FIT. Oh..... BUT ALL THE BLACK RUBBER STUFF Disingeated after going through the wash Ha ha cheers mate thanks for the video.

Can you feel the difference between them ? I’ve bought one in 2022 for a Christmas gift for my old neighbor he didn’t have a knife so I thought I’d give him something to him he could depend on and I bought it from Amazon. LOL, Sure you got a fake? Honestly, I have a couple Fake BG knives and they are actually better made and better steel than the supposedly real BG knives. What you might have gotten is a Factory 2nd or 3rd that was rejected and then "Repurposed" instead of an actual Counterfeit. I really can't imagine anyone wasting their time counterfeiting $5 bills when they could pass $20s. Bear Grylls knives aren't exactly rare or expensive. Don't get me wrong! It may very well be a poor quality fake. But Like I said, I have a couple a folder, and the fixed, and they are both (obvious fakes) actually better (steel) than the real ones!
