Gerber (and CRKT) so often come out with excellent designs and then sabotage them with either poor materials and/or workmanship. It’s majorly frustrating. A decent steel and proper QC and this would no doubt be a major game changer in the multi tool world.

Ive noticed that Gerber multitools have a pretty rough grind tolerance, compared to a Leatherman though they still work well for the price ranges.

I'm kinda surprised the slightly misaligned teeth would give you more contact area or friction when grabbing

Just got a Dual Force and fortunately the teeth aligned perfectly out of the packaging. Maybe Gerber got their QC fixed.

Typical Gerber issue: great ideas which lack the refinement of Leatherman. While Leathwrman has the reverse issue: solid build quality with lack of design creativity. I like both products, but wish theyd fix these issues

Best multi tool i've ever had. Nice mod idea. I got excited because I thought you were going to sharpen it somehow to cut from inside the mouth

Still to this day the only compact multi tool capable of reliably turning loose hex head fasteners is the Leatherman Crunch.

If you’re using a multi tool for bolts I assume you’re on an island with nothing else

Or packed into a crawl space 40 ft above ground and all you need is to tweek a fitting or fastner and using your multitool might save you the 20 + minutes it might take you to crawl/squeeze out the crawl space, climb down and walk back to your tool box...or what Dominic said 😅
