At last, a Gerber I'd buy! Ive had a few Gerber knives in the past and regretted it, thanks to the lousy blade steel. Did you do a review of the Bear Grylls blades? As soon as I saw they were made by Gerber I disliked them......

Sam Woolsey That law makes absolutely no sense in this case, you can do more damage with a sharpened pencil, which IS legal haha

sherman614 its illegal to carry any blade over 3 inches or that locks, even if its on a multitool, without good reason. So I carry a gerber flik (locking blades) when im out on my MTB or any outdoorsy activity, and a 10 year old leatherman kick and a boker plus trance 42 for edc use. The UK has possibly the strictest knife and gun laws in the world, and to be honest, it sucks. If I could carry a pistol myself, I would.

Probably would never actually use this enough to need sharpening. If you did though, at $10 you might as well just buy a new one.
