I never had gerd or acid reflux until I had Sibo for a long time. I'm sure I will have it until I get rid of my IMO Sibo which is hard to get rid of I have little hope left.

Excellent interview, thank you, Ladies! I struggled with GERD about 20 years ago when I was under TONS of stress (bad marriage that was leading to a divorce and work stress off the charts). I did not have a CLUE that that was the root cause. Now, 20 years later I'm dealing with the physical and emotional issues for my gut. I read *Dr. Will Cole's "Gut Feelings"* and *Dr. Mindy Pelz's "Fast Like a Girl"* and between the two I'm TRANSFORMING my whole life! YES, a mealtime SCHEDULE works GREAT for me! Can't agree more with that advice from my personal experience. I was having WAY more trouble when I was a grazer. Right now I'm 65 hours into a 5-day fast that includes 3 days dry. I'm doing a total reset physically and am incorporating mindful times of meditation to replace mealtimes. I've healed a severe asthmatic response to histamine this year by fasting and eating clean, but I still get massive bloating with about anything I eat so here I am still working at my total health. Again, thank you both so much!

To get rid of acid reflux try eating red apple delicious or Fuji apple for a few days. It worked for me, my wife and some of our friends and the problem never came back.

I've had symptoms for the last year. I was dealing with pain in my lower esophagus when eating meat. My gastroenterologist performed an endoscopy and diagnosed me with GERD and mild gastritis. My doctor recommended things like trying to sleep by propping my pillows up six inches off my bed, not laying down 3 hours to 4 hours after eating. He also recommended acid blockers which is not something I would even take into consideration. Thanks for this video and some more tips for my toolbox.

Acid blockers come with their own major problems not the least of which is that your stomach isn't the only organ that utilizes proton pumps - your BRAIN is another. When you take proton pump inhibitors you inhibit very important processes. I'd be more apt to start FASTING (24 hours resets a lot of processes which they didn't mention) along with supplementing with the things they suggest here and get off the PPIs ("acid blockers").

Very interested to watch this, I've been learning about motility and how vital it is. I believe it's a central piece for me.

Dr. DiNezza, I would really appreciate your opinion! I’m having horrible brain fog and low thyroid levels. I’m taking thyroid hormones but it isn’t working for me. I read online that can be due to gut issues and malabsorption. I’m also burping constantly, but the worse symptom is the brain fog for sure. Any advice for me? Possibly SIBO? I don’t have constipation really, and not too much bloating either.

I have spontaneous gastroesophageal reflux & had an EGD & diagnosed with intestinal metaplasia at my esophageal junction. I was put on a PPI because my Gastroenterologist is concerned about that metaplasiacan turn into cancer, & I do not want to be on it with the side effects. Any naturopathic things I can do? I eat plant-based. Thank you for your videos!! Very helpful during my diagnosis journey.

The phrenoesophageal ligament links anatomically the crural muscles and the LES supplying for an additional mechanism to prevent reflux of stomach contents into the esophagus

For gastritis people who cannot tolerate HCL, she mentioned giving them more nutrients including B12, iron, etc. How to get more iron? It is like any form of iron supplements irritates gastritis. Only eating liver? I've been eating beef liver and I can hardly take it anymore😢

yoga makes my GERD symproms worse, due to the reverse positions like downward dog- makes me nauseous, I make sure not to eat 2h before exercise, but still it's hard on my esophagus :/

Lol..Very superficial touch on GERD. Usually I like Dr. Dinezza's content but this convo was not deep enough. Also no LPR? Everyone with LPR go in Google scholar copy/paste this: Observational cohort study: Getting to the bottom of laryngopharyngeal reflux-It’s a motility disorder and not just about the acid. So prucalopride, digestive enzymes,tudca,the role of pepsin, pepsin inhibitors.. That's what we wanna hear not chew your food well 😂

Were you trying to make this guest uncomfortable? You ask her a question and then scrutinize her and give [your] longer answer after the guest? Are you kidding me 🥺🥺🥺 Please learn how to interview properly
@allhimwithme5115 Жыл бұрын
People are _way too sensitive_ and _triggered_ today. We tend to be all talk and no action for being our authentic selves. The interview is about stress and its negative impact on your life and _this_ is your response...ironic. And, furthermore, this is her second time being interviewed by Dr. Dinezza - if she were hurt by her style she wouldn't have come back.
