🌼💐🌼 Seeing this presentation is so wonderful, yet I can only imagine. If only I could have seen all these magnificent paintings, live in New York, at your gallery. All of this great beauty in one place, the exhibition of a lifetime, so near by in the 🇱🇷 USA. The consolation I have? To go from my cell phone to a larger screen format, and be in Wonderland for a long while whenever I want. Your presentation here is like a huge birthday present to me, because I am taking it all in so personally, and with a great deal of gratitude. Thank you, David Zwirner 🍾🍾🥂🥂Thank you so much. 🍾🍾🌹🌼🌹

The fact that you took the time to walk us through the drawings MEANS A LOT. !1st you previewed them but did not fail to give us a glance at ALL of then, and furthermore 2ndly, you did it just right and gave us what we need, a brief scan of the work, such as you shared, is all it takes to feel like you've been invited along and/or are in the loop and have been able to check out the scene hah hah, and that scene 'seen' as an artist wants to see, which goes back to the first point: ALL of it, . .Oh and last but not least you did not ignore the drawings, that's most important of all hah hah, so THANKS a lot and have nice day : )

it is sincerely MY pleasure, being on a small city and WAYYYY over on the west side of the continent, i don't really see big league international shows, thus it's been years since i have been to any, so it's so wonderful to get a little taste of the experience from you sharing your escapades, and as for the drawing work, we all know of Gerhart's awesome paintings of course, but including drawing from the exhibit is what makes it feel like the real experience, looking forward to visiting your channel again!! thanks again and have a nice day and great travels :- )

Согласна. Герхард Рихтер отмеряет время, словно у него такое задание, словно ему следует открыть новый мир, неподвластный законам распространения лучей света в полной темноте. И от этого радость узнавания.

I hope you make a video of the excellent Kenneth Noland show at Pace. For the longest time I thought his work was second tier, under giants like Ellsworth Kelly. This show proves he deserves to be with the greats. Noland's sensitivity for the viscosity of paint to the weave of the canvas is a quality missing from many painters today. With prices reaching $9 million for Agnes Martin’s lesser acrylic paintings (as opposed to her superlative oils), $350,000 for Noland’s uncompromising work is a bargain.

The squeegee technique is much too over-rated, though the smaller works is more interesting-a play between blurry and textured, solid and multicoloured scraping. 👍😊

Gerhard Richter's "Mood" works, at 14:35, are utterly perverse. They appear to be generic color-field works on paper made for a corporate lobby. The vibrant, deep saturated colors, markings, and gestures are palatable.. but this is Gerhard Richter. They are not original works on paper. They are inkjet prints that look like original paintings but are reproductions of original paintings that then become... original. They are impossible to assimilate. As I lose my sanity, they sit there mockingly, silent, boring, pretty. Richter's "Mood" works make Bruce Nauman's "Clown Torture" look like a stroll in the park.

Those bills won't pay by itself bro. If anything I like his small work more. Probably if they are prints indeed they are affordable. Hi-quality colour prints It's not something innovative or scandalous this days.

A technique with great potential, but the painter does not commit to anything, it is cold and impersonal, something empty. (Una técnica con un gran potencial, pero el pintor no entra a comprometerse con nada, resulta fría e impersonal, algo vacuo.)
