Sarah honestly you saved my ass in both MS 1 and 2. I appreciate the fact that your videos are free because that tells me that you are not all about selling something to nursing students to make money. Nursing school makes you a nurse which to me is a sympathetic individual that truly looks out for others and their well being: You do that and are a saving grace. Please Please please continue to make free nursing videos for ms 3 and anything else you can. You are amazing and I wanted to take some time out to let you know because you do what some nursing professors can not do: you teach and WE RETAIN!!

The reason many nurses don't want to work with geriatrics is that they simply aren't young and cute. But if you ever work with geriatrics you will find that in many ways they are like children. Some elderly patients act like children, they regress in childlike behaviors. Other elderly patients have interesting stories to tell if we nurses would give them a chance and not just look at them and think oh they are just old and what do they have to offer society. Some of these elderly patients can make you laugh as they even many laugh at themselves. If nurses can realize that these elderly patients were at one time productive human beings and basically want respect like all other patients, it would make nurses better understanding and compassionate nurses. Because guess what if we all live long enough, we will all be geriatric patients one day.

😂😂😂 I was proud as hell getting that question right at the end because overtime older adults do lose their taste buds and not only that , sometimes they forget to eat too.
