the hipper (Huntman)on the first battle (also in the enemy team in the second)was my fleetmate lol, i met him on the enemy team in a match yesterday. one salvo on him with my Kii, 10 hits and 2 citadels lmfao 18k hitpoints blown off his hipper, half of his HP gone, W dispersion

This is a destroyer where you don't need torpedoes, you have guns, and they're German. Tbh, I feel the tech tree destroyers, the torpedoes are an afterthought. They are more of like a deterrent, they are not your primary source of damage.

The German DDs actually have quite useful torps, allowing you to stealth torp if the need arises. This one pushes the balance more towards the guns, in an almost Soviet manner. It's an interesting addition.

@@FunandGameswithTerry True. I hardly usee my torps on the Z23, except when I see a BB sailing in a straight course is when the torpedoes are used. Otherwise, I just use it as a gunboat, and go hunt down enemy DD's. Yea it seems like a Soviet destroyer playstyle.

No idea how it's going to come out, but it's basically a Z23 maxed for gun DPM. You can reasonably expect to do 50k per battle with the AP alone, but torps are pretty situational due to short range & low alpha. The smokes allow for aggression, and can compensate for the lack of range. It's a fun ship imo, and scary AF for enemy DDs

Opinion on Russian battleships I wanna grind them so bad but I’m not liking that armor and reaload stat

I'm on the Vladivostok. Not a fun grind. Guns lack the penetration on the AP shells, you even get semi-pens on the broadside of a CL 5km away. They do get good armor, they are mid-range ships. But even then, if you want something mid-range to close quarters, play the German BB's. The Soviet BB line does get a long reload on the main guns, which is pretty much a long reload on bad guns. Dispersion is also atrocious. If anything, I hope Sovetskiy Soyuz gets a bit better, but by then in Tier IX, I have wasted a lot of silver. Sometimes however, the guns are so good you get a lot of citadel hits and the good stuff. But that's sometimes. Try them, maybe you might fare better.

Kremlin has the most trollish dispersion in the game. She's got both the smallest minimum and the largest maximum horizontal of tech tree T10 BBs, so it can be a dice throw where your shells go sometimes. Penetration can be a bit meh, and require to get into mid-range where they're supposed to be. Secondaries & general defences against DDs are poor, which makes it all the more challenging. Personally, not a huge fan, but I heard manual aiming can help them a lot. The premiums are often a very different story.
