German Fan experiences The Holy City vs. Sin City as Charleston Battery trash Las Vegas Lights

The second match in the Addiction Football 'Summer of Soccer' Tour, I visited Charleston Battery in South Carolina.
After losing the USL Championship final at home against Phoenix Rising last year in an insane penalty shootout thriller, the Battery are definitely back on track and are unbeaten in the league so far, sitting o n top of the Eastern Conference with 18 points.

Just as I was about to embark on a coast-to-coast motorcycle trip from Miami to Los Angeles to bring the best soccer atmospheres in America to your screens, all my equipment got destroyed in an accident.
Two brand new cameras, my laptop, external hard drive. All gone.

This is Great! Atlanta United's 2nd ever Match in History was at Charleston Battery for the Carolina Cup. Met one of the owners at the Airport. Huge Chelsea Supporter like myself. Hence why you hear the "Chelsea Dagger" after a Goal.

Beer prices are high at battery games, but annoyingly that seems to be the norm for all American sports. I’ve noticed that fans of the NFL are much more like what you’re describing concerning how Europeans watch football. Everyone tries to stay in their seat and watch every minute of the game. You have your small core group at USL games, but most are a little more relaxed with watching the game. Idk about MLS though

MLS sure ain’t cheap either. Just, in Europe, you’d expect stuff to be cheaper the lower you go down the pyramid.. I guess in the US that just works for ticket prices
