German Kindergarten drops Anne Frank to be ‘more inclusive’

A German kindergarten has decided to change its name, Anne Frank, in an effort to be “more inclusive”.
The change in the name has sparked debate amid the Israel-Hamas conflict.
Sky News host Rita Panahi has discussed the kindergarten decision to drop the name Anne Frank with the Australian media writer Sophie Elsworth.
“Anne Frank has become the latest figure to be a victim of cancel culture,” Ms Panahi said.
“How can they do this? How can they try to erase not just history but to see Anne Frank as not sufficiently inclusive.”

@@chadjcraseIf you didn't know let me tell you now as a German. Yes this world's lost. Germany or the Nazis never payed the price for their atrocities, they weren't summarily held accountable and punished. There are more gotaways than those who stood trial mich less condemned and ajd their sentences carried out to the fullest. This is how things like this can happen again so soon after the Holocaust. Shame, decency, morals, having and upholding the right values and not letting the standards slip are virtues that went lost in the 60s and now here we are.

By your thinking, you believe the horrors beset upon another ethnicity should be imposed upon children in Kindergarten? Good thing their judgement, analysis, and moral positions are established at that point. What crimes did your forefathers commit that you feel should be the name of a children's school promoting self-loathing amongst whatever ethnicity you belong to. Erasing what? There are hundreds of schools and kindergarten named "Anne Frank". There no need to get bu...hurt over this 1 case. If its about close to 5000 anne 's and younger anne 's in palestine, you all become silent. This will have heavy consequences, you little hypocrites.

Already in the headline the media got it wrong. They never dropped the name. They were still in the process of deciding whether to change it or not. In the end, after the backlash and criticism they received, they ended up not changing the name.

The diary was written by his father long after she was dead in the 50’s. At the time of the Anne Frank’s supposed writing ,the pencil ball didn’t exist. This story has long been debunked . Sorry to remind it .
