Might be interesting for you to know, but "auf dem Weg der Besserung" does actually translate literally into English. We say someone is "on the road to recovery". Thanks for the videos und schönes Wochenende!

Is this correct? The same happens to this sentence: Du bist auf dem Holzweg. Meaning, either you're on the wrong track or you're wrong. It all depends on the context. Por favor rrespondame. Jack O' Lantern Auf Wiktionary, liest man: *Auf dem Holzweg sein* : "In Wäldern dienen manche Wege nur dem Abtransport des Holzes. Folgt man ihnen als Wanderer, erreicht man nicht sein gewünschtes Ziel.". Außerdem kannst du andere Erklärungen lesen, indem du auf Google "woher kommt Holzweg" oder "Holzweg" suchst.

Auf dem Weg zur Arbeit, wurde ich geblitzt. You translate it as "...I was caught speeding". Why do you put "wurde" instead of "war" for "was"? Do they mean the same somethimes?
