A while ago I said I might want to record a German motovlog to see how many of you guys actually understand and appreciate German. Plus to see how many of you guys are OK with reading subtitles.
So I'm fairly proud I actually did manage to record a German vlog before the year 2015 was gone. Plus 8 hours of writing those subtitles.
For me it was important to observe the following: in contrast to English vlogs I actually enjoy recording German ones. Because I'm able to really say what I actually mean to. But of course my German speaking subscriber base is not exactly big. I need to see if writing subtitles for hours is worth the effort. So guys I definitely need your feedback here.
I'm also aware of the fact that this motovlog features half an hour of more or less random and not connected thoughts about my bike. I didn't prepare anything. At first I want to see a "general reaction" to German videos. If it's good enough I'll do these things with a bit of more structure!

+Schaaf Learn german with Schaaf, Lesson 1. :D Completely agree with your attitude, only sticking with a bike you like for a long time will let you really explore what it can do and any bike can do a lot more that the average rider can. Also, with cheap used beat up bikes you don't have to worry about leaving them on the street or dropping them and they still make you smile when riding them. Germanwise, this probably sounds better than recording in english and with subtitles it's easy to follow (I might not need subtitles after Lesson 10).

That's a great vlog with very interesting points! You're really a wise, humble and funny man. I actually LOVE your CB 500, and I would never ask you why you're keeping it. It's cheap, simple and reliable but it does the job better than many other bikes, more powerful and more expensive. Yours has been ridden on the most beautiful European mountain roads, it has shared your life for many years, so it also has a great sentimental value... Concerning the video format, I've actually enjoyed watching a video in German with subtitles, it's pretty cool to hear you talking your native language. The only problem I personally had was that it isn't easy for me to find half an hour free time for watching a video. When it's in English, I can reduce the screen and keep listening it while doing something else at the same time. But I can't do it this way when I need to keep my eyes on the subtitles. Unfortunately, the only things I can say in German are "Hallo, ich heisse Kiddo, Ich wohne in Paris, ich wollt ich wär ein huhn"...

Thanks for sharing this one. I have followed you for a long time now. Of all your vides I think this one helped me understand you and the type of riding you enjoy better than any other t date. I am 64 years old and have been riding since I was 16 years old. My outlook on riding after all these years is still really close to your way of thinking. Ride what you enjoy the best and the bike that allows you to be in your comfort zone and you will still be riding and enjoying it as much as I still do. Thanks again!

Es ist ein Wahnsinn, ich glaub wir sind "Brüder im Geiste" wie man(n) so schön sag! Ich hab mit einer 690 Duke 3 angefangen und so ziemlich alle ham mich für verrückt erklärt, zumindest bis zur gemeinsamen Ausfahrt in den Alpen. Vor 2 Jahren bin i auf die von dir so glorifizierte Street Triple R umgestiegen, einfach nur weil mir die Duke zu unbequem auf langen Ausfahrten geworden is und wieder ham alle die Augen verdreht, weil mittlerweile die meisten ein 1000er Superbike oder Supernaked mit dem vollen elektronik overkill ihr eigen nenne. Dabei is es für mich sehr unterhaltsam, dass die Elektronik einen Großteil der so teuer erworbenen Leistung in den meisten Fahrsituationen wieder kappt und ich wegen des überlegenen Handlings in den Bergen trotzdem nicht zu biegen bin. 2 Blautöne und 28 Rosttöne, dünnen knochigen Arsch nach 200km tot haha ich kann nicht mehr :'D Ich find dich super humorvoll! Hätte nicht gedacht dass ich mir jetzt n 32 min Vlog gebe. Das mit den SS Moppeds auf der Straße habe ich auch schnell gemerkt, nachdem ich von der Ninja 300 gewechselt habe. 2016 werde ich mit der R6 fast nur noch auf der Nordschleife und anderen Rennstrecken unterwegs sein. Falls ich mal Geld für habe, würde ich mir eine Street Tripple oder sowas holen, ne SS ist einfach zu schnell für die Straße. Die kleine schwache Ninja 300 hat mir fast mehr Spaß gemacht als die R6 auf der Straße. Mit der R6 muss ich viel schneller unterwegs sein damit sie mir richtig Spaß macht. Frohes Neues :)

German vlogs with English subs are quite interesting idea, can't wait to see more of them. I also appreciate the time you spent on translating all of this for us. It must have been pain in the ass but it was totally worth it (both translating and watching). Hey Schaaf, first of all, I have tons of respect for you. The way you handle the bike (even if it's easy in your opinion) is just amazing. I fucking love the fact that you own a CB500, it's just different from all the others. You are able to take absolutely everything out of that bike. You're able to use every single one of that 500cc and put it in good use. About the German: I've been taught German for the last 4 years, so for me it wasn't that hard to follow. The subtitles helped me a lot, altough it's too bad you automatically start watching the subtitles, not the video. Again, I love your videos, keep up the great work!

Einfach nur fettes Lob an dich @Schaaf! Super sympatischer Typ, vollkommen auf dem Boden geblieben und einer der weiß wie man fährt. Das zeigen ja auch genug deiner Videos, in denen du fette Bikes jagst. Ich mag deine Einstellung, fahre selber GS 500 (ja nicht ganz so toll wie eine CB, ich weiß) aber bin auch der Meinung, dass es nicht immer diesen ganzen Elektronikkram braucht um Spaß zu haben. Ich hab wirklich vollsten Respekt vor dir, wie du mit deinem Motorrad umgehst und Strecken fährst, an denen du nicht alltäglich daheim bist. Bei dir sieht das immer so einfach aus und du wirst eins mit deinem Bike! Schön sowas zu sehen. Leute wie du sollten mehr Likes und Abonnenten haben. Jeder zweite kauft sich eine R1 oder GSXR und meint der der King of Street zu sein und bekommt dafür 300-500k Likes+ - nur weil Fame-Bike und so! Dabei ist man meist noch respektlos anderen Bikern, mit vlt kleinerem Motor oder so gegenüber. Und eines Tages zieht der Schaaf mit seiner CB vorbei und sie verfallen in tiefe Trauer! :D Mach weiter so, denn das was du machst, machst du verdammt gut! Es muss nicht immer das teuerste Bike sein - das Bike muss einfach zu dem Menschen und dem Fahrstil passen!Grüße, Phil

I cannot agree more about the whole "underdog" thing. Because I'm a student and I'm super poor living in London, I ride a 17 year old Honda CBR600f. It has more than enough power for anyone on the road, and it feels amazing to be able to keep up with people on much newer and/or more powerful bikes. It's also awesome to know that you're having just as much (if not more) fun on your cheap old bike as someone who had to re-mortgage their house to get theirs. Looking forward to seeing many many more videos of you and your little Honda doing your thing together!

Yup, subtitling was definitely worth it! I'm a spanking new rider (who learned on 600cc Hondas and Fazers), about to buy my first bike at the tender age of 43. This video helped me immensely to make up my mind and avoid the "too powerful/expensive first bike for a noob" trap... You have a fantastic channel which deserves far more subscribers! Frohes Neues! Super cool auch mal ein deutschen Motovlog von dir zu sehen! Wenn ich dich im Q&A richtig verstanden habe, kommt da demnächst noch mehr - da freu ich mich sehr drauf. Dein flammendes Plädoyer für die CB 500 hat mir ebenfalls sehr gut gefallen. Es scheint ja für manche Leute einigermaßen unerträglich zu sein, dass du an der CB festhältst, wenn du dich so stark Rechtfertigen musst. Die Gründe für das Bike hast du sehr schön erklärt, ich denke dass hat jetzt wirklich jeder verstanden.... die Leute die eine CB500 besitzen können dir das sowiso nachfühlen. Ich starte mit meiner CB im März in meine erste volle Saison und habe schon eine Menge Vorfreude. Du bist so ein richtig gutes Beispiel für einen cleveren Budget-Biker, der mit seiner Maschine und durch seine Touren unbezahlbare Momente und Erlebnisse erzeugt und sie mit uns allen teilt. Das und die Qualität deiner Aufnahmen sind der Grund warum ich dir folge. Wenn jemand das Gleiche mit massiven finanziellen Einsatz umsetzen würde, wäre es erstens nicht so sehenswert (weil nicht für jeder Mann erreichbar) und zweitens weit weniger sympathisch. Der Spaß am Motorradfahren steht als CB Fahrer in einem super Verhältnis zu den Kosten - als Student ist das einfach der entscheide Punkt. Man bekommt einen super Gegenwert/Erlebniswert ohne sich finanziell komplett zu ruinieren. Das ist auch was wert. Am Ende des Tages aber mit viel Understatement und Fahrzeugbeherrschung die typischen Statussymbol-Fahrer zum weinen zu bringen, ist und bleibt das Salz in der Suppe der Budget-Biker =) Ich wünsche dir ein gutes Jahr 2016 und eine erlebnisreiche und sichere Saison. Weiterhin viel Erfolg mit deinem Kanal!

Super Darstellung! Man merkt, an der Formulierung und Art der Begründung, dass da jemand mit Verstand hinterm Lenker sitzt, der weder das Eine noch das Andere verteufelt, sondern für sich den Kern am Motorradfahren gefunden hat, der ihm Spaß macht. Trifft man (vor allem im Netz) recht selten. (Ich fahre selbst eine CB 500 PC32 und stehe gerade vor der Frage: anderes Motorrad oder Fahrwerksupgrade. (ist immer noch Auslieferungszustand))

Ich kann mich dem Hauptstrom der Kommentare einfach nur anschließen! Finde ich eine extrem gutes Video, schön wie du so selbstreflektiert über ein so "persönliches"(ich finde es ist ein sehr persönliches) Thema sprichst. Ich habe mich auch schon länger damit beschäftigt und bin zu einem ähnlichen Schluss gekommen wie du. Die Gashand kennt nur an und aus. An einem Baum wollte ich ebenfalls nicht enden, dafür habe ich aber ein bisschen Sitzfleisch dabei - ist also eine LC4 geworden :)

I agree with a lot of what you say. Some people often confuse their wants and needs and it's quite evident from the amount of new crashed bike you can find online. Talk about ego, status, self esteem is spot on here.

Very well said !! I ride the same CB here in Finland, and I'm a new rider. I chose the bike for pretty much the exact same reasons as you. And on top of those, its also built to last. I'm looking into other bikes currently, but I'm thinking I might not have as much fun on something else as I do with the little Honda. So I think the Honda will stay in my garage even if I get another one. At least for as long as it takes for me to feel as comfortable on another bike. Thank you! WAHRE Worte! Da du im Video nach alternativen für die CB gefragt hast...."Yamaha FZS 600 Fazer" Bj.98 (95PS) mir geht es ähnlich wie dir. Gekauft für 1.700€ mit 34k und fahre sie seit über 2 Jahren und habe 24k drauf gesammelt. Super bequem, sparsam, etc. wie deine CB. Und das geilste ist, wie du schon gesagt hast....man wird schief angeschaut aber nach paar Kurven sieht man die Tränen in den Augen der anderen :-)). GEIL!!! Mach weiter so! Richtige Einstellung! Fahre deine CB solange es geht...es ist DEINE und sie passt zu DIR! Grüße aus Deutschland

Ich habe vor 2 Monaten eine CB 500 S gekauft , Baujahr 1998 in einem nahezu Neuzustand mit nur echten 15600 km. Diese Honda ist mein Zweitmotorrad , ansonsten fahre ich eine Harley Davidson 1200 Sportster . Diese Honda kam aus einer Sammlung. Ich bin total begeistert von dieser 500er , sie fährt fantastisch und die Leistung von 50 PS reicht mir vollkommen. Ich bin mit dieser Honda von Hamburg nach Kopenhagen gefahren und die Tour war total super, der Motor ist in einem gewissen Maße bullig und hat eine sehr gute Leistungskararakteristik . Ich bin super zufrieden , diese Maschine ist meiner Meinung nach total verkannt . Klasse Video von dir .............

Ich fahre ab und an die CB500 BJ von meinen Schwager und ich liebe es. Insbesondere im Bergischen Land macht die Maschine unglaublich viel Spaß. Sogar mehr als mit der RS660. Meine Anfänge waren mit eine Kawa GPZ500s. Ich habe die Maschine geliebt und sie hat mich über 5 Jahre begleitet. Jede Maschine vergleiche ich mit der Kawa und bisher kommt nur die CB dran. Ich fühle jeden Satz, den du sagst!

Die CB500 ist super :-). Fahre ich zur Zeit auch, auch eine PC26, und du hast in allen Punkten Recht, die Maschine lässt sich so leicht fahren und verzeiht viele Fehler, die man als Fahranfänger nun mal macht (Ich fahr die CB zur Zeit auch noch mit A2 Drossel)

But I can go to another web site, still listen to the German and understand it fine. Most Americans would not understand, however, so the subtitles make sense, also in the rest of the world. Ich fand das Handling von den alten Dukes (2012 - 2016, 125 - 390) immer sehr angenehm. Macht in der Schweiz sehr viel Spaß. Die RC ebenfalls, ist aber auf sehr engen Straßen etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Duke: Sumo im Naked-Kleid (sofern die Analogie Sinn macht) EDIT: Wahrscheinlich eher weniger als Upgrade für dich, aber schön.

Hallo du hast genau das gesagt wie ich es auch erlebt habe. Ich bin 14 Honda cbr900 gefahren und diese Zeit mit meinen Kumpels war Mega. Irgendwann habe ich meine Blade verkauft und mir eine aus Einzelteilen eine nach meinen Vorstellungen zusammengebaut. Damit ich was zu fahren hat habe ich mit eine cb500 gekauft ich war echt geplättet wie man mit so einem billigen Motorrad fahren kann . Ich habe mir ein Spaß daraus gemacht Sportmotorradfahrer damit zu ärgern. Dann war meine Blade fertig . Obwohl sie mir Optisch Mega gefiel habe ich mir irgendwann bei Motorradfahrern gesagt. Sch... die cb500 hat mir mehr Spaß gemacht. Meine Kumpels fahren nicht mehr und ich kann nicht aufhören aber wieder mit einer cb500. Echt krank das hätte ich vorher nie gedacht. LG Christian

Top Video und ausführliche Erklärungen und endlich auch auf Deutsch =) Deine Einstellung zur Selbsteinschätzung ist sehr lobenswert! Ein Bekannter von mir, der Rennfahrer war, sagte mir als Tipp Nr.1 :"Das beste Tuning am Motorrad ist der Fahrer" Und ich glaube das passt auch zu dein Statement Ich bin jetzt auch seit 3 Jahren mit einer CB 500 unterwegs und kann dich nachvollziehen, wie es sich anfühlt, Leistungsstärkere mopeds zu überholen =) Sie fährt sich wirklich genial und ist für Anfänger Perfekt. Aber auch für Fortgeschrittene hat man damit extrem viel Spaß. Auch was das Finanzielle angeht gebe ich dir recht. Das Motorrad macht wenig Probleme, ist solide, Unterhalt kostet wenig und Ersatzteile sind günstig. Das war auch mein Grund um mich für eine cb 500 zu entscheiden (kann mir auch nur ein Motorrad leisten). Ab dieses Jahr fahre ich aber eine Hornet 900. Sie wiegt zwar leider knapp 220 kilo, dennoch lässt sie sich erstaunlich leicht bewegen. Ich hoffe das ich mit der auch so viel Spaß haben werde. Jedenfalls sieht sie optisch ähnlich aus und die Sitzposition ist auch nicht viel anders =) Seit 3 Jahren verfolge ich mit Begeisterung deine Videos und deine ständige Steigerung was die Videobearbeitung angeht sowie dein Fahrstil, finde ich klasse ! mach weiter so ;D

jessas mei bua! hab mir des ganze vid angschaut und ob der vielen wiederholungen für diejenigen, die manches mehrmals hören müssen, damit sie das gesagte verinnerlichen können, kann i trotzdem nur sagen, dass dies für mich eine der leidenschaftlichsten liebeserklärungen an motorrad und -fahren ist. kann deine überzeugnung nur teilen, weil eben auch ich diese erfahrung gemacht hab. die 500er macht einfach alles mit. ist eine der, wenn nicht überhaupt die langstreckentauglichste in dieser klasse. bin damals sogar zu zweit getourt in österreich und selbst das hat sie mit klassenvergelichbarer bestmarke hinbekommen. i hab zwar jetzt zweimal upgegradet, weil wir zwei immer schwerer werden :D :D aber wenn ich zurückblicke, hab i immer spass ghabt mit der 500er...mit abstrich bei der russkanonen glocknertour... :D :D die quintessenz ist aber die erkenntnis, dass jeder mit dem fahrzeug glücklich wird, mit dem er sich auch wohl fühlt und abseits jeder stammtisch-kammschwellereien mit sich im reinen ist. des würd ich auch dreimal unterschreiben. unglücklich wird ma dann, wenn man sich nur mit wettrüsten beschäftigt. spass ist keine frage des geldes - die einzige erkenntnis, die uns nasenbohrer aufrecht erhaltet...wenn ma mal erkannt hat, dass werbung einen nur zur unstillbaren unzufriedenheit programmieren will. somit kann ma da scho fast respekt zollen, wenn ma will...was i natürlich nie zugeben würde. ;-) :D mach weiter so - des is gefühlt richtig für mich und kommt sehr grad daher, auch wennst mit der papperlatur fast scho in weibliche sphären abhebst... :D :D :D trotzdem: guter bub.

Als ich vor 3 Jahren das erste mal bei euch in Österreich Pässe gefahren bin, hab ich auch alles mit meiner CBR500R stehenlassen. es war sensationell. Ich kann dich da voll verstehen. C'est un argumentaire que je partage complètement...ou presque Je roule également en CB500 et ici aussi en France il y malheureusement cette mentalité de "tu roules en trotinette la mienne est plus grosse", sauf qu'ils font deux pleins pendant que je n'en fais qu'un seul, ils n'osent pas pousser leurs montures au-delà de 30/40% car tout le reste disponible est ingérable (pour une bonne partie, mais il y a bien évidement de véritables pilotes, des experts qui généralement font de la piste). Juste un point où je t'ai trouvé un peu dur, c'est à propos des quadra/cinquantenaires, simplement avec l'age tout change peu à peu y compris la manière de rouler, c'est de moins en moins dans l'arsouille qu'on prend plaisir et de plus en plus dans la ballade tranquillou, mais comme dit l'essentiel est de se faire plaisir le reste importe peu, et surtout pas ces petits trucs d'ego à la con

Die CB500 ist zwar nicht grad das schönste Motorrad aber es ist echt geil zu fahren. Habe selber eine CB500 und bin echt verliebt in das ding. Hab sie zwar auch nur gekauft weil ich mir nichts anderes leisten konnte. Obwohl ich die probefahrt nur auf einem Hefn gemacht hab (kaputter zündkerzenstecker) wollt ich sie nicht mehr hergeben. Hab zwar immer etwas daran zu basteln aber das ding ist echt zuverlässig und hat ein tolles fahrwerk. Tolles Video, mach weiter so.

Seit Jahren verfolge ich mit Begeisterung deine Videos und bin heute wieder einmal bei diesem gelandet. In meiner Garage stehen mittlerweile eine VFR 750, ne rostige, ausgelutschte CB 500 und seit Weihnachten ne SV 650 (Knubbel). Und wenn es darum geht ne Ausfahrt oder zur Arbeit zu fahren, schwinge ich mich zu 98% auf die CB. Die VFR, ein Traum von Motorrad aber zu schwer. Die SV macht Spaß ohne Ende aber es fehlt mir immer die Wendigkeit und "Sicherheit" der CB. Es ist tatsächlich wie Fahrrad fahren. Ohne jegliche Angst in die engsten und längsten Kurven zu heizen, kann ich nur mit der CB. Vielleicht noch mit der Duke 690, die ich in Österreich einige Zeit fahren durfte und mich wirklich überzeugte. Leider zu teuer und zu unbequemer Sitz und wahrscheinlich nicht halb so zuverlässig wie unsere "Alte". Ein wirklich tolles Video, welches ich mir alle paar Jahre anschaue und mich in meinem Denken bestätigt. Danke, lieber Schaaf!

Happy new year Schaaf! In America, I ride a 2014 KTM 690 Duke. It is also a very flickable bike and has many of the same qualities as your Honda. My bike does not go much faster than yours, perhaps 180 KPH. A smaller bike works for me. It's a blast trying to keep up with friends on their liter bikes. I don't mind the subtitles. Keep on speaking Sud-Deutsch, if you feel the need. I will continue watching your beautiful videos.

Dude, I totally get you. Had my GS500 for a little over 3 years now. It's cheap to run and fix, frankly the only "big bike" I can afford being in uni, and that feeling when you're overtaking a bigger bike going 140 in a tight corner, with a top box and a 130 rear tire and the bike wobbling and then seeing that person in the next gas station and they can't help but smile, there's nothing like it. When you ride a bigger bike, going fast is no big deal, but with our old 500s it's lying on the gas tank, praying to see the needle go up just a little more, saying "go on, I believe in you! faster!", having all the power without power-wheeling yourself from a corner...there's just something about it. Can't tell you how many situations I've been in over the years where I've said "yeah, if my bike was a little faster I'd probably be dead now".

Interesting video. It doesn't matter what you ride as long as you are comfortable with it and enjoy it. Best example that comes to my mind is your Vietnam video with the RSX 110. It was great seeing you push the little scooter to its limits. By the way, happy new year Schaaf.

Meinte CB 500 hatte ich zwölf Jahre lang, war immer treu und zuverlässig! Die erste Batterie hatte tatsächlich elf Jahre lang gehalten, die Werkstatt hat er es mir nicht geglaubt. Und das bei einem Motorrad, das ganzjährig draußen steht, und wenig Pflege bekommen hat. Im Luftfilter hat die Werkstatt mal ganz viele Nüsse gefunden, da hat wohl ein Tier seinen Vorrat bei mir gebunkert😆

das erste Video das ich von dir angeguckt hab, und ich muss sagen Mannohmann hab ich mich amüsiert, und zwar tausend Mal besser als Jungle Camp oder DSDS... Meine Freundin liegt daneben und denkt ich wär schon verückt weil ich "nur" ein Motorradvideo anguck und manchmal wie blöd losgelacht hab... "Ich hab einfach kein Geld!" wieviele Leute kann heutzutage in der Öffentlichkeit diesem Satz noch ehrlich von sich geben??? Die Gesellschaft entwickelt sich leider in die andere Richtung, Leute kaufen sich mit dem Geld was sie ausleihen um Dinge zukaufen was nur Prestige aber kein Nutzen haben. Bin froh jemand wie dich begegnet zu haben. Ich fahr mittleweile ein anderes Motorrad aber ich durfte auch eine GS500 kennenlernen und kann von mir aus das gleiche was du hier vermittelst bestätigen, ich wäre auch mit so einer alten Kiste auch sehr glücklich gewesen, wahrscheinlich mach dass ganze noch viel mehr Spass wenn man nicht jedes Mal fluchen muss wenn das Bike eine kleine Kratze abbekommt oder in der Pfütze landet:) Ich wünsche dir noch viele Jahre Freude beim Fahren egal ob bei deiner CB oder Street Triple.

Wow, this was quite a struggle. I wanted to just listen to you and use the subtitles for the things I have missed, so as to get at least a little practice in German, but since the sentence order in German and English are SO much different, it was a mess. I´ve had really hard time, since the information my ears and eyes were getting didn´t really correspond and my brain just wasn´t able to form two sentences at the same time and match them eventually. I don´t know how well is this video doing compared to others, I have no idea how long do people watch before turning it off, how many watch the whole thing, but the feedback here looks strongly positive, so perhaps I´m just an outliner. Seeing that you have spent 8 hours making the subtitles, which wasn´t much fun I guess, I don´t see this content really making much sense. Can´t imagine spending 4 hours (considering you will get much faster) making subtitles for just one video multiple times. For me and people I know that watch your channel, we are pretty much interested in watching someone ride a little CB around twisty roads at times when we don´t have time or just plainly can´t ride ourselves. In this video, the riding is just not all that interesting, plus the commentary that is very hard to follow. It would be really interesting to see the full statistics on this video. I´d like to see if I´m really an outliner or if it´s that part of the audience loves it and the other part isn´t interested, but doesn´t comment. Best of luck either way :) .

+Freeman that is an excellent feedback, thank you very much. I had the suspicion that these could only work for German native speakers or those who don't understand German at all. Every thing in between is tough because like you saw it my subtitles are not precise at all. That's mainly because I was saving time and I have the habit of using 10 sentences to say something ordinary people would say in 1. Too save me from work I basically wrote a synopsis in the subtitles :D The video works a little better than my touring RAW clips. But now I can experience this magical vlogging effect which I like a lot. People get "engaged" and I get a lot more comments than on my RAW videos. And I'm still enjoying this community aspect a lot. If I do another German vlog in Spring and if I manage to make it a shorter (less than 10mins) one I'll write more precise subtitles. Maybe it will work for you like that. But the RAWs will keep on coming anway^^

+Schaaf Well, I don´t really follow any English speaking vloggers either, because frankly, I don´t want to learn about their lives, it´s pretty same reason why I don´t read tabloids, I simply don´t see any reason to. Considering this, I´m clearly not the target audience here. Making these shorter, getting faster in making the subtitles, having less subtitles to do, that would get you somewhere between 1 and 2 hours, that looks doable, as long as it´s fun and not just a drudgery. I would definitely stick around, since I´m curious how this content will do in longer term and selfishly hope you won´t be converted to a full motovlogger :) . Well unless it won´t really be a vlog, but rather riding with a live commentary. Always wanted to see that, but no one seems interested in doing them (maybe they tried and figured it doesn´t work, dunno ).

du sprichst mir aus der Seele, ich kenne viele, jedes jahr eine neue Reisschüssel unterm hintern, aber wehe sie müssen mal ne schock bremsung oder ausweichmanöver machen, dann ham die kein plan was ihre schüssel mit ABS, TC usw. macht. ich fahre meine auch seit 8 jahren ;)

Now I fully understand why you choose to keep the little honda. There is a saying in england which goes like this "it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast (to its limit) than it is to ride a fast bike slow" and I think this sums up why you love your honda cb500. It's because you feel comfortable pushing the bike to its limit of grip and power and as a bonus it's cheap, reliable, comfortable and the perfect bike for your riding which is the most important thing

thats why I love my drz 400 sm I dont need it to go far or be very fast or comfortable for long journeys I just love being able to push it 100% to the limit on the road and stay below 80 mph so keeping it legal ish most of the time

yes there great there very agile and the brakes are amazing on the sm moldes you can go way to hot into a corner and just give them a handful and then you can just chuck it in. It's funny as I was only describing it to my friend the other day that it feels like a bicycle just with lots more power

obwohl es schon ein Jahr her ist hammer Video! Das hat mich echt zum nachdenken für meine zukünftigen Pläne gemacht! Das Gefühl einem im Rückspiegel beim Verzweifeln zuzuschauen ist mehr als nur herrlich. Überhaupt wenn man auf einer 125er unterwegs ist und er auf seiner R6 das 10fache an Leistung hat aber in den Kurven seine Maschine nicht kennt und man ihn nach der 3 Kurve nicht mehr sieht.
