I am a German Palestinian who has been living in Germany since 1988. We could only reach West Germany because the DDR smuggled us in. The Federal Republic never wanted to fulfill its responsibility towards the Palestinian people. I have been demonstrating for a free Palestine in Berlin for over 20 years. With each passing year, the restrictions increased, and we were increasingly silenced. However, it was never as bad in Germany as it is currently. Every spark of expression is being extinguished. Only one narrative is allowed. The conflict is portrayed as Jewish, Islamic, not as a struggle against a colonial power. Germany has become unbearable when it comes to freedom of speech! Best regards from a displaced Palestinian in the third generation, still waiting to kiss the ground of his homeland."

As a German I do feel very much ashamed about my government, especially the Interior Ministry, for the behaviour at the Palestine conference. There was absolutely no reason to intervene. The onesideness of german policy towards Israel is unbearable and does not at all reflect the feeling of the majority of the people, as about two Third of the populace does not support Israels policy towards the palestinians. I do hope that the organizers will sue the government for that clear and evident breach of our constitution and we need more pressure from abroad against this german adherance to the zionist narrative!

@@alexglanz7406 - This that Germany (and other countries like France) is doing is clearly fascism but whitewashing historical fascism such as Franco's is utter blindness and very dangerous. Repression under Francoism was extremely brutal and would have they decided to close any conference, there would have got everyone arrested or killed on the spot, and those arrested would have been tortured and maybe killed in the police dungeons. And the cowardly people who allowed that terrorist regime to exist would have murmured: "habrán hecho algo..." (they may have done something...) My aunt was a teacher in Ondarroa and one of her underage pupils dared to mumble something in Basque while in front of the Guardia Civil barracks; he was arrested at the spot and died under police custody (was beaten to death). And this did not stop with the death of Franco anyhow.

Every nation needs to stand in agreement in prayer, repenting for themselves, their nation, & all the nations in the world. United we stand, divided, we will fall. We are seeing repetitions of history in every nation. We need to all turn our faces back to God, for He alone is able to save us. Not that Poland is a free nation but my polish is so week that it hardly bothers me, since I don't understand what they say. During the 26 years I spent in Germany I learnt what that society looks like. The renewed shameless aggression towards Russia where Germany killed 27 million people and the suppression of support for Palestine. In the 19 th century there was a philosopher and military theorist named von Clausewitz who wrote the famous book "about war ". He said: "War is the diplomacy continued by other means" . I have an other version which goes like this: "The Federal Republic is the Third Reich, continued by other means". Soon I have to go to the Netherlands and for that I have to cross Germany. I consider applying a sticker at the back of my car with that text. I presume I will be stopped by the police at least 10 times during my travelling in Germany

Then going to the protest camp at Reichstag was a pain because of the police presence in the city. Then the ending of Salman Abu Sitta's speech - which was said at the location didn't have anything said that goes against German law. Ending the whole congress and arresting a lot of people.
