when you watch Russian or American films, they immediately let you know that these guys are good, but these are bad. It is very important that this film was shot from a different angle, it gives an understanding of how brave and experienced the German soldiers were, that they are also people and not machines, they also value friendship, they also worry about the death of their colleagues. This film also shows that for Russian soldiers the war was not an easy walk, a very smart, well-equipped, strong, brave and experienced enemy fought with them, and the victory of the Russian people was literally gnawed out of the ground through incredible efforts and a lot of blood. And when they say why the Russians are so worried about the presence of NATO at their borders, we just understand that we can’t withstand such a war yet

Not to mention on D-day, The landings were only possible due to the fact that Germany's forces were pulled away from those beach heads. As well as in russia, Germany's forces were defeated due to the fact they ran out of ammunition's and supplies. Why? because nazi hitler cared more about his obsession's with killing Jewish people then caring for the German people that he halted the supply trains that would carry said supplies to the Eastern front, so that he could use them to transport more Jewish people to death camps. The German people suffered under hitlers rule and even though they opposed him they were treated the same by those who opposed Germany. Long Live Sacred Germany.

I can only imagine how many interesting stories could have been told through the eyes of the German soldiers who fought in WW2. There’s no shortage of films about the American soldiers or the Holocaust victims but you rarely if ever see it from the German point of view. Many of which were just normal people trying to survive, with zero knowledge of the atrocities carried out by the Third Reich.

You have to make yourself heard over battlefield noise - and if you have to wake up your soldiers when they’re resting because of an attack, then you have to yell. WE need more German Reenactors in the UK as only about 3,000 and half of them do SS, and so the SS ones give the hobby a bad stigma, But nether the less its their choice to do so as acting as the SS that is, But as HEER "Army" we need more to give better battles and praise to the fallen ones that gave there life's for being a German soldier. Don't get confused from that of the SS as they was a different force that had another ajenda , The Wehrmacht & Luftwaffe and others had no idea of what was going on back in the out backs, " The Camps" Just to say the Schutzstaffel (SS) were made up from 1000's of Italians (Italienische SS-Freiwilligen-Legion ), Nordics. Romanians, Swedish, and many more and they fled back to their countries with open arms and were hidden/ protected from being brought to justice after the war, and we/us don't talk about those countries being part of the belief system of the (SS) even Africa wanted to join the SS but was denied. And so people go to those countries for holidays and don't say anything about families that still living today that are from SS blood line. Anyway if you like to have fun in doing Reenacting then google for your nearest Groupe of what you fancy being part of. Your be amazed on how many people come up to us and say You give a good impression and look the part. And that is by wearing original & top quality reproduction uniforms and equipment. You also get to here about soldiers who served & died and also the ones that survived, that family members who come to our event', tell there stories from what has been passed on to them to tell what they went through.
