Its important for people to see all this history while it is still standing and not erase everything from the map qnd peoples minds. The Reichsadler often were put over entrances in bunkers and buildings for " moral support, strength to the soldiers etc ". Thank you for great history videos as always. Regards from Sweden 🇸🇪

What an interesting German WW2 site. Yes, a shame more od the history wasn't being preserved. The Luftwaffe insignia at the entrance of the bunkers were really something to see. Would have loved seeing the German hi-tech hospital still intact. It must have been intriguing. Does anyone reside in the doctor's quarters? Thank you so much for taking us there, EE & HH. ❤❤

Another interesting location. Like many people of the time, people wanted to erase the footprints of the Nazis regime. Just like the people tearing down buildings to use the materials for themselves. Can you imagine how clean and bold those eagles and shields would have been back in the day. I wonder if the one bunker with the opening with a sloping ramp and the other window was actually a mg position? Gun was set up in the front window and boxes of ammunition was slid down into the bunker from the back side. Once again you have captured history before it is gone for good.

Absolutely gorgeous scenery there. Could definitely see why the Germans would want to protect that area. What an elaborate tunnel system. Extremely well constructed. Imagine the time involved. Looks like you had some wet weather to deal with. The Luftwaffe symbol at the entrance was in mint condition. I hope they will at least preserve that piece of history for future generations to see. What an amazingly beautiful area. It looks so serene and peaceful. I can fully see why the Germans selected that remote location. A narrow entry point from the sea, and mountains all around. And so easily defended. Shame that the hospital is being rebuilt, but, at least, they haven't just scrapped all the original slate tiles, and are obviously going to re-use them, so at least their history will continue. So cool to see that the eagles, and city crests, on those small bunkers, are still there, virtually untouched, since they were made. Such a rare sight to see today, with the modern worlds' current desire to erase history, that doesn't fit todays narrative. Something I'm against. People need to be reminded, to see, this history. And never forget what those symbols really meant, to the people who lived under that history. Thank you guys for sharing this amazing little location with us! Cheers to you both! Stay safe!

What a fantastic find you are showing us today. It is incredible that no one hacked away the eagle and the cross after the war, it is otherwise common in other places around Europe. That was really cool to see that not only the city crests survive but that the Adler's are still there. I do hope there is some sort of group in the area that will ensure they are never damaged. I do wonder why the city crests? Were the code names those cities or were perhaps the Organization Todt members who built them from there?

These are rare and it has survived due to the fact that not many know of them and their location. City crest were often made by the crews to name the bunkers and they were plotted on their maps of the bunker sites such as. Here the Germans themselves and hired locals built them. I think if I lived in Europe I would Squat in one of the Bunkers and live in it, one of the ones that are not as well known about. Might provide some protection against the coming WW3.

This is super cool to see WW2 is so cool to study. And something we shouldnt forget about. German people fought for their own future and lost 😢 when they did we all lost. They took it too far yes but overall look where we are now.
