Thanks! Incredible set of finds deep inside that bunker. Shame I couldn't quite make out the nameplate on the generator, it would be great to see that cleaned up. The battery bank would have been to supply emergency power if the generator stopped. The panel looked to be a charger / regulator. Interesting that the battery cells were Nickel Cadmium.

IN all the time you have taken us to abandoned bunkers in various locations i don't remember ever seeing one that had so much equipment still in it. I guess it was sealed up right after the war and has stayed that way until recently when someone broke through the brick wall. Quite an amazing site to get to wander through. I wish it could be preserved as I suspect as soon as others discover it is open it will be looted. Thanks for taking us along on this adventure! Stay safe and stay well you two!!

OK, I'm at 11:57 now and my brain is melting lol. Seriously, this has to the most interesting bunker yet. I keep saying that almost every video I see of yours, but this really is so intriguing. With so much left behind and judging by the state of preservation, I'd say there must be some post-war activity here, maybe tied to the Cold War. I do know there were many large bunker complexes that were retrofitted as such in many European countries. However, judging by the apparent age of the fittings, I doubt the occupation lasted beyond the early 60's. Having said that, the loo roll is probably the most astounding thing to find. It may be worth getting permission to remove it for preservation, honestly.

Wow, now after having seen that generator we need a "Will it run after 80 years?. Saw a video somewhere of a similar bunker and they were able to start the main generator, incredible! I believe the entire bunker should be made into a museum. Amazing content as always!

That was impressive and certainly one of the most interesting bunkers that you and EE have visited. At around 26:30 in the video there appears to be an open floor hatch, did you look inside and was anything there? Will you be showing a part 2 for this adventure or was it all covered in this video? I'd be interested to see what this huge bunker looks like from the outside, if any more of it is exposed above ground and not buried. Thanks to you and EE for your efforts and for sharing.

Outstanding video. The best bunker that I think you have ever found. I hope that it can be properly protected!! There can't be that many that are that well preserved. Do you know who owns it? Are such things automatically protected in some way? Is there any organisation that can be asked to seal it up? I am always struck by how nicely built these bunkers are - they are not roughly put together but instead everything is nicely fitted, all the wires and such like. I also like all the little details like the patterns left in the concrete by the wood used to frame the concrete and also the original wood still left inside the little gun ports.

I think this place is almost always sealed up properly but someone seems to have worked very hard to enter and lucky for us as all we had to do was to walk right in as it was open. Talk about luck :) Thanks Charles.

Oh my Lord! What an absolutely amazing and huge bunker! I would give anything to have been there with you! All those artifacts still there, it's a miracle they've survived the years. I agree with you 100 percent that those pieces should be in a museum for future generations to see! This, in my opinion, is one of the best locations you have shared with us!! Thank you ever so much and keep up the spectacular work!!

I have to agree with EE, this bunker is definitely in the top 10 of places you have explored. Someone spent great effort to break into the sealed bunker, fortunately allowing our HH team to get in, but, like you, I hope it gets re-sealed to preserve it from other. less scrupulous, "treasure hunting" WW2 history explorers. The outside access toilet area on the first level was obviously for the near defence and nearby gun crews to use, and also the bunker's top level Operations staff, but could be sealed with the steel door in case of attack. Loved seeing all the light fittings, and switches, and the wood panelling still in place. Just amazing. And to see the bunker's generator still there. Incredible. That big water reservoir is just crying out to be drained. Who knows what's hiding on the bottom? Definitely one of our Teams best unexpected explorations. Thank you both for doing this for us. Stay safe! Cheers!

This place is massive! The control panel was an amazing find by itself but the size of this is such an unexpected pleasure. It's wonderful seeing the old switches and things that are still functional. That generator was unexpected but awesome. A central heating unit would have been so incredible for a people who had no such. Thank you HH and EE for taking us here. This was one of my personal favorites. Take care and stay safe. 💖💯

the most interesting part is about the remains of the electrical equipment near the generator. depending on the label at the electrical panel this generator was able to charge two batteries for a (field-)telephone communication system (feldvermittlung) and the other, most interesting part - two batteries (kleinkog-dreiwag-batterie) from a FLAK (air defense) command & control system. it means in this bunker was a system installed who calculated the data from the rangefinder/distance measuring to direction data for some flak guns and send this data by wire direct to the connected flak guns. maybe there was a battery of 8.8 or 10.5 guns in that area. in that case on the socket who is shown at 12:50 was highly likely a ww2 radar system installed. not much of this ww2 high tech things survived until our times . . .
