@@whoisharo4689 because California became a liberal shit hole so I bought a house in the woods on 20 acres it’s not quite as good as the ocean but it’s pretty damn nice. I wake up in the morning with anything from deer, turkeys, moose and every now and then we have a bear that shows up. of course he’s not so welcome

Yeah I was raised in southern Calif, in the 60s and 70s it was so much fun in those days it was crazy and things weren't so expensive or nothing cuz we were poor but it was fun I kind of miss that.

It’s wonderful how your love of movies and entertainment goes back so far. I watched “oldies” at my Grandmother’s house but they were new to me and brought to life from the greats that came before. That’s how you could see a movie if it wasn’t in the theater. At the same time the great art of film got better and better with sound and effects and cutting edge writers and film editors and actors. We are lucky to be fans and lucky to have you bring all of it into perspective. Thank you for great fun.

Husband speaking age 80, when I was about age 7, i liked to go into the shoe repair shop in Edmonds, Wash. 1950 - I won't insult the old man by trying to spell his name, but possible German. He would actually make a shoe for you if you wanted, shoe or boot. I'm sure that skill is almost gone now, it is all by machine.

I loved Griffith Park. So many sweet memories. When my son was little, he loved the Carousel and riding the ponies. He was born in Los Angeles in 1963 and passed away in 2012 in Tulsa 😢. My parents had an apartment on Rodney Drive and had a balcony and we could see the Hollywood sign and Griffith Park was so easy to get to. I can see you have so many followers and they all love your videos. I try not to miss any of your videos. They make me happy, a little melancholy but mostly I enjoy seeing all of my favorite places. Dankeschön ❣️

By the way, I would like to know when I’m gonna die. This way I can make sure my service dog is going to be safe and taken care of - I would want to make sure he is settled with whoever is going to take care of him. It might make me a bit scared, but my boy’s needs and giving him a chance to get him settled and comfortable is more important than my own worries and feelings.

Tootsie Roll Industries has the Sugar Babies & Sugar Daddy brands. Austrian Leo Hirshfield invented Tootsie Roll Candy in 1896 in New York City. When I came to USA, Sugar Babies were more popular since they were easier to eat! A Sugar Daddy sucker took a very long time to disolve. You could not chew it, or it got stuck on your teeth like super glue!

Another good candy back ina day was 'BigHunk'! They prob'ly had it in that candy store Farrah, Angel, your headstone is unbelievably too plain! Shoesmith...nobody uses that word anymore. The shoesmith in my ol' neighborhood, circa late 60s, was an old foreigner with one leg way shorter than the other, he had his shoe fitted with a ortho platform, his shop was greasy-oily smelling, dark, dank, and cluttered. My way older sisters were always making me take their shoes to him for repairs, or dancing taps, and made me go get them when finished. I now know they were scared of him! R I P Ol' Shoesmith!
