Gotta say, as I have been working my way through your back catalogue, this was one of the most surprisingly informative -and- entertaining. Well-done, and thanks for putting it together.

For your follow-up video, you should do a short one on all of the variations of the Wera. I count six, but I might be missing one or more!

You put a lot of effort into making this video, thanks for the great comparison. I have a special black/yellow version of the Wera opener wich they gave away at a trade fair. It's a great bottle opener.

17mm open-end wrench does the trick too... ;-) One of "99 ways to open a bottle", without a bottle opener of course. The bottle openers are nice, have you seen the Wera umbrella (with the Kraftform-grip)?

Are you planning to do a review of the Hazet bottle opener?

Have not gotten my hands on one yet.

German Tool Reviews I should be putting in an KC order next week. I'll toss one on there for you. Cheers!

Off topic, but how does a Klein stack up against these?
@GermanToolReviews7 жыл бұрын
I haven't used or seen the Klein bottle opener. However, it looks like the Klein uses stainless steel which could be an advantage in this application.

Thank you. I was expecting something far less serious but this was done with the same degree of rigor that you apply all your reviews. I enjoyed it. How about commenting on your branding choice on your video headers. What's the smoke about? Also, are you a native German speaker? You pronunciation choices seem to match what I hear from my German friends. I source my German tools from KC Tools and Chad's Tool Box.
@GermanToolReviews7 жыл бұрын
The intro was just something I made fooling around. It is more an "ink" effect than smoke. Definitely not a native German speaker. I took 3 years of German in school, but that was almost 20 years ago so I have been refreshing it as I find time.

I'm loving your videos. Thanks and keep up the good work! What is your takeaway from the cap deformation comparison? I always like a cap that looks like it's barely been touched and sometimes it's nice to be able to snap it back on the bottle. Does it imply something about the performance of the opener? It seems like a sign of good engagement with the cap, but maybe too much.

I not really sure it means anything, just added it because it might be interesting to someone. Thanks again for watching!

I don't even remember what I did with the Felo, I think I gave it away to someone along with a couple of other ones. Hopefully Felo will see this and make some changes.
@tobiasbusch72846 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry these must be chinese knock-offs, every respectable German tool company will know that the most ergonomic and practical way of opening your Feierabendbier is an ordinary BIC-Lighter. This knowledge has been handed down to generations of young apprentices and is common sight at every Scheunenfest. Not only will you be made fun of by the all the other Gesellen, remember a good craftsman can open a cold beverage with everything in his toolbag from A wie Anschlagwinkel to Z wie Zollstock, your also endagering the relationship to your customers, because your showing off your incompetence to the rest of the world.
