what? did you even see the other games? brazil was shit all the previous games and before the semi they were already talking about the final. in that moment i knew it was gonna be a clear victory for germany. and it felt great even though i am austrian and was raised to hate the germans. but brazil was so overly confident and the team was so absolutely unsympathetic i wished they would get a good deal of goals. and they did. it was great. and no surprise.

I think if Brazils gets it's act together it will be the most dangerous team. Argentina is also interesting, Messi will be 35, but for the first time in Messis career he won't have to play a world cup with Argentinian players from the mexican league lol.

Probably has German roots. There are towns in Brazil PACKED with Germans because they fled after their defeat in WW2. My dad has been to some of these towns and says they feel just as German as Berlin or Duesseldorf and they speak German in some of these places. Ironically, there are so many with German roots that a friend who lives in Ecuador told me he might as well learn a little bit of the language as they're starting to become a larger minority in some parts of Ecuador!

I am from Germany. This still gives me chills. There was something in the air, even before the tournament started. A feeling, that this time we will finally get the cup. Even if there were many many question marks. Kedhira wasnt fit and still recovering from an injury, and so was Schweinsteiger. Espacially Schweisnteiger, in the middle of a recovery from severe injurys and in pain. Reus couldnt take part at all, because he got badly injured. But nevertheless, there was a great team spirit and trust, that you could see and sense it. At the latest, after this ugly fight against Algeria, they were ready. These are the games you have to win. But Brazil semi final caused Brazil a lot of repsect and intimidation. Espacially for us fans. Still we trusted them, but the outcome was something else. Something we coudlnt have wished for or believed in. After three goals, Brazil seemed to forgot how to play football. It was hard to watch. Brazil, the greatest football nation. But this guy said something true: Only focused on single players, no team building and too much focused throughout the game on faking fouls. Brazil needs to do better and they already learned from it. You can have players like Neymar, but you dont win without a team. This game wrote history. And so it was a desaster for Brazil, we all felt so blessed and honoured, that the Brazil fans stood up and applauded and supported us in the final. Honestly, you cant wish for more. Thank you Brazil.

Nobody in Germany mocked Brazil - they celebrate their own team. I am Brazilian and this result was not a fluke. Foreigners who like football do not watch our local tournaments. Our domestic football have declined in quality. Ridiculous people have been in charge of our football. Our best players are not in the best teams anymore. The clubs are full of people who does not know anything about football, so, this score was unpredictable but not a fluke. And the worse thing, after this game it is already 4 years ago, nothing has been made or done to change this scenario. For the "owners" of our football , everything is fine, but it is not . Shame on them, they are blame for this tragedy.

I hope brazil wakes up and they hold the talents more in the brazil league. Brazil have great footballers but no team. This is what they've learned at that particular game.
