No the difference is the hypocrisy behind this. Ukrainian are whites, not Afghans or Syrians or Yemenis... if men leave their wife behind it's because they don't come with trains, airplanes or buses. They come on foot thru mountains and valleys. I wouldn't send my wife and kids to the unknown. I'll go myself first then call my family after... Ukrainian men are sending their wives to Europe not knowing where they are or who they will be with.

I am a Ukrainian who currently lives in Ukraine. On the one hand, I am grateful for all the help you provide my people with. On the other hand, I am very mad at the Germany and Germans because lack of MILITARY HELP. If you and Europe in a whole would not be so dependent on russian oil and gas (and our government very creaming about it since 2014!!!!!!!!!!) russia will not have the finance to support this war. Of course, you welcome Ukrainians as you've said - polite, highly educated professionally and culturally and religion more similar to Germany and white. Everyone wants us BUT on manual jobs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Read my post above. We do not need you to accept us, we need you to cut off russia from oil supply, ban Nord Stream 2 , and give us weapon real weapons. do not steek my people as a slave for unattractive jobs!!!!!!!!!! this is what we Ukrainians think Europe is doing. And the pettiness is that Europe wins in any case because you get mostly young people and children to support your economy and substitute with the old generation. You do not make us a benefit/ You use us for your own benefit as well. And conclusion - germans shall get rid of their Stockholm syndrome and show their morale by punishing russia not compromising with her.

@@ОльгаБендзар Do you even have any basic knowledge? Germany is already cutting of Russian resources since the begging of the war. It’s countries like China and India who are now cooperating with Russia. Also, Germany has absolutely nothing to do with this war, why should we fight with an army that can’t even protect it’s own country? Why especially Germany and not any other country? We pay the Ukraine lots of money already which, if you didn’t know, is also a very big reason why Germany is currently suffering under inflation, we can’t afford anything anymore. And no, we don’t need you as workers. In fact, every Ukrainian has the right to get welfare. Welfare includes a house, enough money to live and school education and payments from the government for special occasions like school trips etc. And you know who pays for that? The working class via higher taxes due to the war. A stable working class that can even run a country that spends money for your war to safe your people. Shame on you, really!

Germany has no direct enemy, theoretically not even Russia. We have at least basic relations with almost every country, no matter if Iran, North Korea, China etc. Every year 20-50 North Korean scientists, health personnel, etc. come to Germany for training/exchange. Germany has a lot of aid organizations, cultural and educational organizations, which are active even in North Korea. The US, unsurprisingly, comes top when looking at total spend. Last year, it gave over $30 billion either as bilateral aid or through international organizations such as the World Bank or UN. Germany is second, with over $20 billion of ODA last year. This constitutes an increase of over $4 billion compared to 2014. The list is dominated by European nations, but the UAE, Canada and Japan also feature. In addition, Germany makes fewer demands for the funds and lets the countries spend them more freely. Germany has almost always advocated diplomatic solutions. We pay even the Palestinian territorial government a few 100 million in aid and advocate the two-state solution. Even though, unfortunately, it came out that the government there also uses the money for pensions of assassins who attacked Israel. Germany has faced many things from its past and does not deny the bad things, like other countries.
