Ich bin ein 17-jähriger Junge, ich bin Spanier, aber ich bin ein Fan von Gerd Müller. Kann mir jemand sagen, warum er in der WM-Qualifikation 1966 nicht für die Nationalmannschaft gespielt hat? Das bin ich Merkwürdig, da Beckenbauer bereits in der Startelf stand und Müller noch nicht dabei war. Mit der Auswahl ausgeschieden, danke.

Der damalige Bundestrainer Helmut Schön hatte sich im Sturm auf Lothar Emmerich und Uwe Seeler bei der WM 1966 festgelegt. Gerd Müller war dann aber ab 1967 der Mittestürmer Nr. 1 bis zur WM 1974.

Pourquoi Tilkowski a été remplacé par Maier ? Il n'y a pas photo entre les deux

Tilkowski should overtake the former keeper Hans Jacob in the number of plays in national team (39).He became at that time spring 1967 the record holder. It was the last play of Tilkowski in national team and the last honour for him. Tilkowski died January in 2021. It is pity but my French is too bad to express this in that language.
