****UPDATE**** Have heard back from Gero Design who’ve said they’d accidentally left out the instructions & THEY DO supply an instruction sheet with the shop🤗📄

lol well at least they got back to you about it. Nice little kits, and good base for a diorama.

A good and comprehensive presentation of these laser cut kits from Gero. Just like the demonstration of the build. The result shows what can be achieved with the quality of Gero. Versatile use in appropriate dioramas. Have a nice weekend, Simon. Greetings, Joachim

Thanks Joachim, the farmhouse in particular is the most enjoyable building I’ve put together across the different mediums like plaster, plastic or wood. Strong & sturdy I’d definitely recommend 🙂👌

They look great.....if I didn't enjoy building my own so much I'd be investing in a few of Gero's buildings

Cheers Ian, no need to look elsewhere with the quality of your buildings bud!!👌 Nothing like the satisfaction of creating something unique to you, but these kits here can be a great alternative…

They are nice kits….🙂👍

These kits have a ton of detail and include all the extras to build up into beautiful replicas! The number of pieces though, and lack on instructions, make for a complicated build and they do require some reinforcement to add strength. Of course, they are nice and light, making a diorama much easier to move. Thanks for building them up, got a lot from the video 👍

Cheers Jerry, appreciate that. Yeah some simple instructions or guidance would’ve been useful, despite most of it being quite straightforward. Referred back to their website a number of times to check things. The buildings themselves are really sturdy with the help of the wood glue, and much lighter than the plaster ones…😌👍

I really like how these kits are made with individual pieces for stone work etc. Yeah very nice looking kits and after a some good painting and weathering they will be realistic looking I’m sure. Thanks

Thanks Timothy, yeah once put together they are really nice even before painting! Working on the farmhouse soon so looking forward to get some paint down on it, work on all those little details…☺️👌

Very successful kit presentations! The kits are very extensive - but also quite large! Nevertheless, the building with the shop could arouse my interest. Especially as it is an undamaged building! You can create a great diorama there! Many thanks for the presentations of the kits! Greetings from Northern Germany, Jost

Cheers Jost, yes they are really nice, and like you say it’s not often buildings are made complete, I think most of mine on dioramas are battle damaged… Thanks for the feedback👍

I like the Gero Design buildings, are these buildings representing German buildings? I'm surprised the farmhouse doesn't have shutters for the windows?? Good to know they do provide instructions, thanks for showing
@Barbarossamodels2 жыл бұрын
Hi, I don’t think they state any of the buildings are particularly German, but the farmhouse I thought did remind me of buildings I’d seen in the Alsace French/German region. The plaster buildings I’d had from Gero did come with shutters, and so to scratch build a few would be simple enough…😌👍

Good review on nice looking kits. Any suggestions on weathering the roof tiles as they look very uniform out of the box? Cheers Stu
@Barbarossamodels2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Stuart, that’s something I’ll have to have a look at when I come to paint it later🤔 No doubt airbrushed but not in a uniform way & maybe oils to pick out & add details.@CW Modelling has done something similar here at 10:32 & 19:00 if that helps… kzbin.info/www/bejne/rJa2nZKtp62ol6s

Excellent work but you have one small detail to consider. The roof shingels should not be mounted in straight vertical lines. The space between the shingels have to overlap. Else you will sure have a leaking roof!
@Barbarossamodels2 жыл бұрын
Hi, have to admit you had me at ‘shingles’…. Thought it was something fancy so had to Google it. Only ever knew them as tiles - learn something new every day!😁 Also learnt I should’ve overlapped them!! Just took it for granted they were how I did them, then looked at Gero Designs website & there’s overlapped too. Surprised no one else mentioned it, definitely know that for next time - thanks for bringing it up Tomas👍 I’ll just have to keep them out of the rain….😏

Those are some really nice looking kits. Wonder why they have no instructions or guides in them? Most likely they would not even need words just diagrams to aid in the building so translations should not be an issue.

Good shout Tom! Obviously the sections with the relevant wooden & cardboard pieces just cut out & glue to the relevant wooden section on the walls - easy! But perhaps some simple advice or guidance on the stages of assembly would be useful, even a sheet with some close up pictures of the finished model - save people having to refer back to the website/KZbin for clarity each time🤔👍
