Note: I moved the second to last ramp in secret 3 right one tile so the secret works consistently. It otherwise will overshoot the ramp every time unless you let go of dash at the right time and I don't feel like doing 7 minutes attempts repeatedly only to lose to an automated secret not working. I know you're reading this BirdTheBanana please fix it for the good of mankind
Secret 3 aside this level is pretty cool, I like the usage of bombs and the mini rocket things. Secret 1 and accessing it can be a bit mean since the bomb guy doesn't respawn and if you go the wrong way your combo is forfeit but otherwise I think the presentation here is quite impressive.

This level is really cool, and it looks like something Tour de Pizza themselves would make! I had no problems with secret 3 when I first played it but *Secret 2..* That's just a torture chamber Tour de Pizza would never even think of.

Good level using the custom sprites as new gimmicks near the end of the level but the first half kinda seemed like a marathon of similar ideas. I think there is a little too much straightforward gameplay in the first half and it could maybe use some small optional sidepaths with less giant open areas but maybe it just feels that way because youre p ranking it.

Great level, but I feel like the limitations of CYOP hold back the live broadcast gimmick there. If only you were able to run custom GML code so you could create new objects/gimmicks without having to jury-rig it with pre-existing objects, but then again that'd probably be a security vulnerability just _waiting_ to happen...

CYOP hasn't been updated beyond compatability in a while That said it's not a cyop bug, it's just a mod I made by swapping some code around

This tower is AMAZING. bird did a great job! Only complaints are: 1. make a consistent custom door, every other floor has a custom door sprite, so why use the noisette cafe as a door but for others just the floor 4 one? i mean it works though. 2. bombs and mr pinch are used in this floor, like- the worst gimmicks, basically

I love the style of this level. It fits pizza towers theme while being its own thing. I like the elevator segments and the news anchor gimmick on the third floor is brilliant. Speaking of the third floor it doesn’t make sense which makes it funny. Good level overall.

Secret 3 has been fixed for the future, I say as I'm pulled harder on my chain labeled "Gerome's Side Project 1.1 Update". For the time being, don't hold the mach run at all.

As a potential addition, you should add special NTV broadcasts for lap 2 I think it would be a great idea

Another bug you should look into is if you crouch-side right at the start of the level and keep yourself crouched, you'll be squished under a box and softlocked, i'd recommend turning that stack into a 2x2 or removing the top one

Sometimes you come across a concept that just fits the game as if it was always there, the kind of thing that makes me wish there were bonus levels. Something to unlock after P ranking a world, this would fit great in World 3 This doesn't need much more to become its own thing, the main problem with these custom levels is that they usually don't include an unique gimmick like every level in Pizza Tower does. This one makes clever use of available resources to come up with its own, with some level design adjustments it would basically be perfect

Main problem is that you can't include "new" objects and such without using an additional mod that makes the level have an additional barrier to entry You can sorta work around it like some levels do by using visual tricks (Such as the noise tv overlay here), reskins of objects (Core of the hive turns the sticky cheese into honey), or use gimmicks in ways the base game doesn't (Pizza Hotel does this in levels such as Sandy Shocks and Misua Skies) You can also use unused objects like the meatball (Pizza Hotel's meatball ravine does this) but your mileage may vary

@@yoshister yeah I figured that would be the gist of it, it's essentially the same debate in Super Mario World romhacking (although significantly less complicated due to 20+ years of dev backlog). The larger the scene grows the more tools will pop up simplifying this sort of thing, for now there's what you could call "vanilla" levels and they're sometimes the most impressive. Hopefully the Tour De Pizza devs will give us hooks to make this easier
