For me the Tennant- and Smith-Era was the absolute Peak of Doctor Who. So much heart bleeding moments.

Looking at new who with hindsight, it was the peak of the show. Tennant was the doctor during the show’s rise to fame, and smith was the doctor who take charge and Brough that fame overseas(His era is the most viewed in Australia, Europe and American). While Capaldi have some truly amazing moments and brilliant episodes, his run was unfortunately during the show’s pivotal down and while most of that was due to outside factors like the show’s air time getting late and the show itself being darker mean less children were watching, but a big factor was how he his doctor was written in series 8. While the 12 Doctor is loved now, back when he first started, he turn a lot of people off, not with his age but with his behaviour, it was quite jarring going from smith’s whimsical, boyish charm and polite smile to Capaldi tired, rude and angry attitude. It’s not secret Moffatt was trying to do recreational of the 1st Doctor arc but he failed and seriously tried to change course in series 9. But probably the biggest factor was just how long the show had been going on for, by the end of 12’s era, the show had ten seasons and for causal viewers that little bit to many. Then was the Chris Chibnall with his bland, boring and awful writing.

Matt is like my favourite Doctor. Hes so funny and childish which is what makes him the most lovable. He is the only Doctor that had companions who eventually turned into a part of his family and he had another place to call his home other than his tardis(If u seen the doctor who specials:"The Doctor, The Widow and The Wardrobe" then u would understand what i mean by that). I rlly want him to return for some sort of christmas specials or something and meet the 13th doctor. Or i atleast want 13 somehow meeting Amy and Rory and somehow find 11 as well.
