Gerotor Pump and Oil Pump Gears -- How Do They Work?

Thanks for explaining this. I am currently rebuilding my Seadoo engine (Rotax 1503). I found out the oil pumps are GeRotors and have been looking for information on how they work.

@@MichaelWatson-c4o no problem. It's a cool concept used all over in automotive and marine. Many automatic transmissions use the same concept to pump transmission fluid throughout the transmission. Thanks for commenting!!

Need more content on your svt focus. I know its probably just your daily but there such cool cars. I actually am building the engine for my svt focus and i watched your videos on how to do it. Mines getting a turbo. So i was actually gonna ask. Do you think i should upgrade my oil pump gears?

Sorry I won't be able to make more SVT focus content with that specific one because I sold it. Might own another one day. Never know. They are cool cars for sure.

As for your question, I would not upgrade gears. SVT Focus aren't known for breaking gears.
