all looking good gerry, we had a 369 many years ago, and that stopper that alters the length of the bale came loose on ours too, but didn't notice it soon enough so it was tying every slab that came out, then jammed he knotter up so bad it split the casting, was never the same again so had 2 get rid of it.

Did no-one ever tell yer man who tried to tedd the ditch that they don’t tend to make great hay??!! 🤪 first time that I was left turn hay on my own, the PTO fell off the tractor and dragged the hay in front of it for about 30 yards. Hadn’t noticed it and Dad had a good auld go at me. Nothing broken or warped but it was a great lesson for a young lad. Seeing content like this would make me want to drive up and give ye a hand with turning or rowing up the hay. Great video Gerry, thank you.

Nice vid gerry👍I had most of my stuff ready (well I thought it was ready) to go last week... it didn't work out to well 😂😭😭. My tedder has the same headland off set system as the malone I think but after nearly 25 yrs it's now tacking from side to side 😣. I'd forgotten about your jd baler, bale length adjuster. I personally don't think it's the best design as I've managed in the past to let it slip and hit the bottom. A bale every flap doesn't work well with my sledge 😂😂🙈

@adamsandrew55874 жыл бұрын
Greasing after pushes any water that gets into the bearings out
@patodwyer7214 жыл бұрын
If you grease first before washing, you would be washing excess grease onto everything and down the drain. But like the saying "doctors differ and patients die", but every one has their own way.
