I used to sell acid preservative for crimped grain many, many years ago. The Murska crimper mill did the crimping and then it was ensiled into similar size pits, roughly 20ft wide by 40-60ft long.

hi gerry ur brave man hoping to get hay we had four dry days in donegal since 1 st june ,,,weather in northwest ireland way different to what ye get ,,,,hope ur hay plans work out ,,,great video ,,,i use that type grouper mower to mow for silage bales great yoke double ur swathes less travelling when ground sticky ,,fills good even bale too ,,,

Hi Gerry, Brillianr video. Thanks for sharing how the veins work on the mower. Looks to be making a lovely neat job of cutting it👍. I am hoping to buy a mower down the road, a mounted one probably like your other mower, so I can get into the corners better. Some contractors leaving a lot of grass on corners with the trailed mower and apart from the waste it looks terrible 🤮. Animals never really eat corners probably. The very best of luck with the weather and hope you get all your hay. Going to leave mine until next week until I see what happens.🌞☀️🙏

No problem... yes they’re a good mounted mower....if you can get the same type as mine....they’re a little awarkard to hitch on.... and stick out a bit past the tractor in transport position but they’re some mower to mow grass.... better the the newer type... and built very strong compared to those other ones that good up

Gerry we rented a meadow few years ago off a neighbour he forgot to tell us the esb had replaced an old pole in middle off field when mowing the mower got caught up in wire rope left behind by the esb crew did some damage

Yes it’ll be lot more economical but more then that even is it lot more Manoeuverable. Ideal for the job

We got our hay in middle of may, a good strong crop also, I'm guessing down in cork we had a bit more rain earlier, 6930 with the drill on, were you drilling a bit of grass seed or something
