Vraiment superbe ! Je ne suis qu’orthophoniste, mais j’ai eu en rééducation vocale, un éminent percussionniste à Strasbourg, qui jouait six marimbas ,de Steve Reich, un peu partout, même au Japon, une mémoire auditive, comme je n’ai plus jamais vue! Il n’avait que des difficultés vocales en donnant des cours ..

I'd be very interested in a few of the technical details - Adelaide - did you use syncing to a track you had already made in a concert hall? I think it's rather hard to believe that kind of sound is what one hears on top of 33rd Street (or wherever you were)... you used radio mikes hidden inside the marimba? 😊 Anything's possible - Who made the decisions about editing of the video and audio? You, or your production company? It's a lot of fun...

Well played. Some difficult physical movements in there. Musically, though, is it worth all that effort to transcribe big piano works? I wonder if it would be better to take your considerable skill and write something original?

The musicality of this arrangement is beautiful. This is not mere technical skill but real musical mastery of a marimba. This arrangement is so good it should be performed with prominent orchestras.
